Ok, I called ahead to make sure that this was indeed a restaurant and not a bar, because from the outside it is very hard to tell. Rest assured, this is not a restaurant, or a very poor one at that!

We sat down and noticed that the lighting was poor almost to the point that I could not read the menu. (No, I am not a blind old man!)

we ordered the coconut shrimp, $9.95, While waiit for the shrimp, we noticed that everyone was getting the usual chips and salsa when they sat down, except us. 15 minutes later here come the shrimp!!!

But, what we got were 5 medium sized shrip (which in industry are really the smallest shrimp you can buy besides baby bay shrimp) and they were BURNT!

I ordered the publanos rellenos and my wife ordered the shredded beef chimichunga! We sat there for about 20 - 25 minutes without any chips and salsa mind you.

Finally the dinners came, mine looked good, maybe a bit too much cheese, but I can deal with that! My wife's CHUNKY CHICKEN Chimichunga was all wrong! If you remember she ordered the shredded beef NOT chicken, so back to the kitchen it goes.

SO, after about another 20 minutes I am ready for the dessert and my wife's dinner finally arrives. It was salty and disgusting.

The waitress never tried to make it better, we were charged full price too! The right thing to have been done was to either take the meal off the check OR at the very least offer to buy us dessert.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, GO ELSEWHERE!

Non the less, we skipped the dessert and will not ever go back there.

Cons: place needs to be bought by new owners

Cabo is a really fun place to go for Mexican food, especially in the warmer weather when you can sit outside. They have great food and every kind of Mojito under the sun. Definitely go if you are craving great Mexican food.

This is a GREAT place to go for mexican food. The chips and salsa are to die for and it is just a really good time. There is usually music and the place in like being in Mexico.

Okay, my one problem is the fajita fixing portions!!!! SO TINY!! They give you a little metal tray that holds your cheese, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and tomato in a portion that couldn't be more than 2-tablespoons each. After your first fajita you have no more fixings! But they have great margaritas and a nice 2 for 1 happy hour. I love the bar and during the summer they open the front up and you can even sit right outside. They have something going on each night of the week like karaoke. The crowd is 25+ at night. Great service though!
