I have been a local homeowner and Trashaway customer for over 15 years. In that time I have had to contact the company approximately 10 times with a problem or a question. Each time the employee I had to deal with was rude, obnoxious,

I don??t appreciate the service. They should be ashamed of themselves. I left two of my garbage bins outside in front of my yard the night before pick up day , and they never came by to empty it. I even call the following morning and they did not accommodate my needs. What has happen to me will not be tolerated and I will make sure the mayor and the governor is involved. This is a big situation. I will forgive but not forget, we all make mistakes, next time I will take much further action by taking them to court.

One week they are too far from the curb, the next they are too far apart, the next they are too close together, the next the lid is a fraction of an inch away from being fully closed, and the list goes on and on. I can't believe I pay as much in taxes as I do and have to deal with this horrible customer service.

Every week they invent a new reason why they can't pick up the trash. One week they are too far from the curb, the next they are too far apart, the next they are too close together, the next the lid is a fraction of an inch away from being fully closed, and the list goes on and on. I can't believe I pay as much in taxes as I do and have to deal with this horrible customer service.

In past few months, this service has been horrible. They complain cans were too far-up the lawn, yet a week later they wanted to take away some furniture We had set up on our lawn in front of house. then they were too far apart, then too close together. and just recently too full. If it were up to me I would change company. Just this past week, my garbage was not picked-up. Supposedly overfilled garbage cans. I believe my neighbor did not have his garbage disposed of either. We pay our taxes, which pays for their "services", I believe these people have become lazier with the new pick-up system, now if they have to get out of their truck to pick anything up, they will not dispose of our garbage. In the meanwhile, we contact the company, their response" ask the city for more garbage cans". At 1 point the worker told my gaughter, we should be out there (~4:00 a.m.) to pick up any bags that fell, throw them back in the can and then they would dispose of it. That is totally ludacris. I have had it with this company..I do plan on reporting this to the City of New Britain..we've had it with this company. Our complaint may not do much, but @ least I will be heard. If i could, I would rate trash away with "zero" star...
