.

The Wine Country liquor store is a very small shop with a limited selection of most everything. When I asked the clerk behind the counter for a particular bottle of Belgian Ale, he gave me a look as though I was disturbing him and curtly answered "we don't have it"....and that was it. He was just plain rude. He didn't even offer to get it for me. Then it occurred to me that I wasn't in the right store at all...."the Wine Country" had put up a sign that reads Wine & Spirits on their sign-post. Naturally, being in Winchester, I thought I was shopping at Winchester Wine & Spirits...boy was I wrong! I left and found the real Winchester Wine & Spirits only a few hundred feet down the street, just past the Stop & Shop (right across from the CITGO Gas Station). I immediately know I was in the right store when I was greeted with a warm and friendly "hello, may I help you?" as I entered the store. And the store is HUGE! Over 10,000 sq ft. of literally thousands of wines, liquors and craft brews. And yes, the not only had one of the largest selections of Belgian Ales anywhere, but they even offered to get me whatever I wanted in the future. The "real" Winchester Wine & Spirits is located at 632 Main Street. Don't make the same mistake I did....The staff at Winchester Wine & Spirits treated me with respect, courtesy and professionalism...the other store could learn some lessons. Go to the real Winchester Wine & Spirits if you want a real selection! Thanks!
