Zehnders of Frankenmuth

I definitely don't see what all the fuss is over the chicken dinners from Zehnders. It's just chicken, people! It doesn't seem that special to me. The service is decent. I don't like sitting at a big table with strangers but maybe they don't do that anymore. Overpriced for chicken dinners but they have other things.

The best resturant to visit for family style chicken dinner. The staff is always friendly. Resturant is clean and well taken care of. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The service is excellent, the food delicious. And I love the atmosphere. If you can, go on a Sunday when they have their wonderful brunch. They have all the items included with the family style chicken dinner plus much more, including a table of desserts. And don't forget to sign up for the birthday club so you'll get a free meal the month of your birthday. It is a 2 hour drive for us but we make the trip several times each year and it is well worth it.

I highly recommend Zehnders, of course I do, who would not? It is legendary, it is excellent, it is worth it. With that said, travel down the stairs (or elevator) to the basement and try the cafeteria. It is the same food, it is the same quality service, you just walk through and pick it up yourself and it is a lot cheaper. I would highly, highly recommend the basement to anyone. A quality place all around.
