Green Zebra isn't the kind of restaurant I'd choose to frequent very often, or perhaps even again. However, the food was quite good, if a bit precious, had interesting bursts of flavors, & was beautifully & artistically presented.
The focus is vegetarian although there was one salmon dish on the menu, and the servings are tapas sized. We ordered three each & by the end of the meal were full, something I didn't expect. I can't begin to list our choices but will note combinations such as caramel/thyme ice cream & roasted shiitake mushroom gnocchi with caraway dusted brussels sprouts. There were other ingredients in that gnocchi dish & the flavors were coming at me right & left.
The average price dish is about $13, yet it begins to add up when you're sampling this, sampling that. There's an interesting wine list too and an even more interesting non-alcoholic list (house made root beer).
