Costco

This store is fantastic. I truly don't have any complaints. Yes it's crowded, particurly on the weekends. However, they've instituted an action by where they have checkers come through the waiting lines and add up your items and give you your total cost in writing, That way when you get to the register all you do is give the cashier the slip given to you and pay. Fantastic idea!

To the author just who did you mean when you wrote, "everybody and their brother". I was certain we were all customers.

If you'd like to change you can always go to the one in Bloomfield on Telegraph, not as crowded but then, not as nice.

Nice place to shop and stock up on items. However, too many people go there now, and have ruined it. When I joined 6 years ago, it was just a nice place where you could always find parking, and the isles and checkout lines were practically clear, even on a Saturday.

Now, everybody and their brother has caught on to the store and ruined it. The parking lot is constantly full, people are crammed in like mice in a cage, and the checkout lines go back 5 or six people on average.

The solution? Open another store in the Troy, Birmingham area, please.

This Costco is located on Stephenson Highway, not far from 13 Mile Road, I say that because there is an entrance from 13 Mile Road (a sneaky back entrance) which is more convenient than having to do all those turn-arounds on Stephenson Highway. With that done, we have shopped at this store for a very long time and have never had a problem here. All of their fresh food is just that, fresh. Their baked goods are great. We even ordered cakes from here and they turned out beautiful. All of their seasonal items are always different and diversified. All of their general items are well-stocked and available. The prices are great as well, even though you are getting a large amount, for some items it is really worth it. This store is huge, very clean, and well staffed. I highly recommend.

CONS: None that I can think of.
