Bella Vista

Of the dozens of Italian restaurants that line Hanover Street in Boston's North End, this may be one of the friendliest. Small tables pack the tiny dining room where families come to celebrate. I love their lobster fra diavolo, the house specialty. Generous portions so you better come hungry. The restaurant serves beer and wine and the prices are reasonable.

I went to Bella Vista with my family and really enjoyed it. I've heard people complain about rude service here, but we didn't have a problem. The dish I got, some kind of pasta with a medley of seafood, was one of the best meals I've had in the North End. Most restaurants in the North End are super tiny, as is Bella Vista. Go to Mike's Pastries for dessert.
