Adventure Aquarium

This aquarium was really cool. I liked the giant Ocean Realm exhibit and the penguins. I also got to see a few shows. The Shark tank was really cool. You also get to touch a variety of animals including jellyfish and sharks. Overall, the aquarium was beautiful. Although, the 4-D theatre was a waste.

The Adventure Aquarium, or formerly known as the New Jersey Aquarium, has undergone a major renovation and it is dramatic. It is now larger in scope and scale. It is a great place to bring the kids. They will love to observe all the underwater sea creatures, and even the hippopotamus. It is well worth it to purchase the family pass, especially if you live in the area.

The adventure Aquarium, once the NJ State Aquarium, reopened last May after a renovation. They doubled the size and added some quality tanks and exhibits. We bought the family pass because my 19 month daughter loves the tanks. She especially loves the colorful reef tanks. They have hippos, swim with sharks, pet sharks and several other cool tanks and shows. The cost of a daily adult pass is around $17, which seems a little steep, but the family passport has been great. We just hop on the lightrail, Riverline, and drop in for an hour.

Adventure Aquarium is the former New Jersey State Aquarium. It has been renovated and expanded. It is gorgeous! The new exhibits, such as the hippopatumus, are really thrilling. It is a great place for kids and adults alike. The whole waterfront is on the upswing, with the baseball field field and the Tweeter Center on a few blocks away. A great place to spend the day!
