I made the mistake of ordering food from here. The food was just OK and way too expensive for the quality. It took about 2 hours to be delivered and was cold when it arrived and also was missing a few items. When I went in to talk to

I've lived in Radford for several years now and have always enjoyed Highlander Pizza. The pizza is probably hands down the best you can get around Radford. Their cheese steak sandwhich might be one of the best subs I've ever had.

I've never had any problem with customer service or having my order wrong. I've always been extremely satisfied and this continues to be a favorite among me and the rest of roommates.

I've lived in radford my whole life. Highlander pizza has been a regular spot for locals and students alike for years now. The food here is great, the pizza is better than most chains, and the pizza rolls are some of the best i've ever had. HOWEVER, this all comes at a price. The food is pricey, expect to spend 10 bucks per person in most cases while other places in town can get you the same food for way lower price. The worst part of it all is the customer service. A couple of the delivery drivers are nice and helpful along with the girls who run the phones, beyond that its horrible. the owners care nothing about customer service. dont expect them to get your order right, and dont expect them to be nice when you correct them, they will yell at you. they yelled at me because they couldn't find my address to deliver to (it was being delivered to my place of work, which doesnt have the numbers displayed outside), and i mean he cursed me and got in my face! the drivers always call me when they cant find it and i direct them to it(i would always tell the person taking my order to write the name of the buisness on the bag, but they never would, so i didn't tell them to write it this time, why bother? they never do). I will never order from highlander again!!! its not worth the trouble. shop around to other, lesser know pizza joints in town, you won't be dissapointed!

I'm a sophomore at Radford, and have been getting Highlander Pizza for a while. However, their service in the past few months has been atrocious.
Don't get me wrong - the food is very good. However, the management there seem to have a habit of getting your order wrong, or even forgetting about it altogether.
A few weeks ago, I went there with a friend to order some dinner. I got a pizza, he got a sandwich of some sort. I got my pizza at the time they stated, but we waited for 45 minutes for the sandwich. They had forgotten that they put it on top of the oven, and it had been there for about half an hour. That shows that both the staff AND the management aren't capable of running a business.
I went there tonight, and ordered a pizza with hot wings. I made the mistake of not checking what they gave me, and when I arrived at my dorm I found they had given me mozzarella sticks instead of my hot wings. I thought that I would be able to pick up my food and not have to inspect it before I got home. Evidently, I underestimated their ineptitude. I will never visit Highlander Pizza again, and will recommend my friends to avoid it as well.
Now, the food. The pizza there is quite good - it has thin crust, very flavorful sauce, and a great topping selection. The cheese, however, leaves a lot to be improved upon. It's very stringy, and far too chewy compared to other pizza chains.
The hot wings are also delicious - they have a great sauce, and the wings themselves are very meaty, with much less bone in them than you would expect.
In review, the food is great, but I cannot possibly recommend this establishment to anyone due to the disastrous service they have. I wish that I could go back because the food is the best around, but that means nothing if you don't get the food you ordered.
