Cafe Porto Bello

My husband and I love this restaurant and go here all the time as it is within walking distance of our home. We love it even more since they expanded (now you don't feel like you are sitting on top of the table next to you). The food is really good- love the artichoke appetizer as well as the lobster ravioli in amaretto sauce, the eggplant parm is so good and my husband loves the tortellini alfredo. We even catered our rehearsal dinner from here.

I'm surprized to see people thinking this is expensive. We go and have an appetizer, two glasses of wine and two entrees for around $50-60. To me, that's not that expensive, but maybe it's a product of living in Boston for a while.

The only drawback is that they only accept cash, no credit cards so make sure you make a trip to the ATM first (luckily there is one right next door).

The Cafe Porto Bello in North Attleboro is a very nice Italian restaurant. The prices are on the high side and the menu somewhat limited. We did enjoy our meal and the staff was friendly.

The food was excellent, but I thought the prices were a little high for a cafe in the center of North Attleboro. The rustic bread was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan and it was also good. For the price ($11.95) I would have l liked to had a bit bigger portion.
