I've been with Francesca for over a year now. In that year, I've challenged Francesca with a variety of demands. I started with permed curly hair in an extremely unflattering style. Francesca was the first person to truly give me a flattering and MANAGEABLE cut that made my curls look stunning. Then I wanted color--rich, punchy color. Francesca custom-formulated a brilliant and lustrous red that made my skin and eyes glow. I have been getting compliments on the color AT LEAST 2 times a week for the past 6 months since I got the new color. Then, I lost 30 pounds, and wanted a change to go with my new look. Francesca used her amazing skill, convinced me to go straight, and gave me the most amazing cut that looks FABULOUS while getting rid of my curls and accenting the new shape of my slimmed-down face. So this is it: Francesca is great cutting curls, brilliant with straight locks, amazing with color, and has an unbelievable understanding of what her clients want, what would look good on them, and what's current. If you trust Francesca, she'll give you such a good cut, you won't have any trouble reproducing it at home (even if you only want to spend 10-15 minutes on your hair like I do). I would recommend no other--absolutely, positively!

Trust Francesca and her judgment about what will look best on you. She's like a plastic surgeon for hair...and knows things to do that you could never conceive of or know would be most flattering on you. I was reluctant to have my long hair cut shoulder length but am so glad i trusted Francesca. Do yourself a favor. Schedule a consult, then allow Francesca to do her magic...you'll be so glad you did. Consider it an investment in great hair. I also recommend the products she sells to best maintain such a great investment.

I just graduated from college and moved to Philly. I'd been itching to change my hair for over a year, but never felt confident enough in in a stylist to really let them try something drastic. She ensures that your new look will fit your lifestyle (ie the amount of time you're willing to spend coiffing), and that it will fit YOU. I now have bangs for the first time since the 3rd grade (when my mother would cut them herself), and my boyfriend won't stop telling me how beautiful I look. It's a much more sophisticated haircut/color, and my once limp tresses now have depth and movement. Jenny also waxed my brows (a first for me), and they too look just perfect. Thanks to you both!

Francesca can cut curls! With the hip cut she gave me, I fell back in love with my curls. I was tired of looking like everyone else, with the blown out, shoulder length hair. First off...I received the best haircut and color in my life here!!! Francesca is absolutely FABULOUS...and so is the space. If you go here, which I highly suggest you do, you MUST schedule a consultation first..its about 1/2hr and she discusses with you everything from what you do for work, for fun, and with your hair...THEN...she'll feel your head, and talk to you, like a human being, about your head shape and what haircut and color will make you look like a million bucks..or if your like me, like you just got a million dollar face lift. And to top it off, her assistant, Jeni, will masterfully shape your brows...again, like you just got another eyebrow lift.
