.

We were extremely disappointed in the care our 3-month old received while attending The Goddard School in Apple Valley. While our infant was at this facility, we witnessed child/teacher ratios not being up to par, extremely young/immobile infants and mobile infants in the same room?crawling over each other and sharing toys that had been in each others? mouths, bottles being propped and/or being left hanging out of infants? mouths, and infants being fed cold (right out of the refrigerator) bottles. In addition our infant?s diaper was not changed every 2-3 hours as the school boosts. There were instances we picked up our infant at the end of the workday and the diaper was so full it appeared as if it wasn?t changed all day.

When we approached the owner with our concerns, the owner was shocked and claimed to be "unaware" of what was going on in their school/business. We were given excuse after excuse with no valid explanation, justification or correction plan.

I caution parents as they visit this school?looks, staff, classroom rules/policies are deceiving! If you choose this school, the best thing you can do for your infant is stop in (during the day) and visit unannounced.
