We liked the selection at Norfolk Wholesale, though when it came time to get everything together to plan for our wedding, we weren't pleased with the service we received. We did purchase my wedding bouquet and Hubby's boutonniere from them, but not everything else. Pro - Good selection, plentiful. Bad - Service, poor.

Despite the name, I found this floral service to be the same price as a local florist and their delivery charges are exhorbitant. They wanted $85 to deliver to a location, on a weekday, less than 10 miles down the road. We all know they're going to be putting your wedding flowers on the same truck as other local deliveries they're making unless you're having a huge event with lots of flowers--we weren't. $85 did not include set up or any other special services either--just delivery. Give me a break.

The only other solution was to pick the flowers up at 8:00 a.m. (for an EVENING ceremony?!?) which if we were interested in self service we could do by using Costco or Sam's Club who also have GREAT flowers by the way but unfortunately don't offer delivery.

The consultation was rushed by a designer who seemed totally uninterested in our wedding once she found out it was going to be small. I've had more rapport with people for whom I've been on job interviews.

We ended up choosing a florist who charged us the same (or less) for all the flowers we wanted, not to mention, only charged us $20 for delivery. BTW, they were 17 miles away, not 6 that NWF was.

They do offer a nice product, have a huge warehouse and a huge selection, but all in all, not for the bride who is trying to watch the bottom line. Definitely a part of the "evil wedding industry."
