Since I am a sucker for Cincinnati-style chili, I am a big fan. For under $10, you can get chili over spaghetti (my favorite) with cheese, onions, beans and oyster crackers. They also have a full bar, which just makes everything fantastic.

I am from Cincinnati and I must say Chili Macs is nowhere near Skyline or Goldstar. It is good don't get me wrong, and it has the same basic ingredients, but the taste doesn't match. If you are from the Cincinnati area, I would recommend this place for a quick fix if you are really really craving the real thing. But again, this does not in anyway come close to the great taste of Skyline.

The chili was thin and flavorless. I have a high threshold for spicy food but I needed to dump almost half a bottle to get any flavor. Still can't believe that this place's specialty was such a disappointment. Usually I'll give a second chance to a place that dissapoints despite good "word of mouth." But I'm not spending $8 on flavorless, ground beef.

I love this place. I stop here for hotdogs and fries on my way to Cubs games. The hotdogs are cheap and come with whatever you want on them. The fries and jalapeno poppers are delicious, but take a while to make. The only down side is the place does not seem to have air conditioning, and can get super hot in the summer.

This fun "hole in the wall" joint is a great place to have a frozen blue margarita and munch on the freshly-made thin-crust pizza. During the warmer months the outdoor seating is some of the nicest in Lakeview. The turkey chili is the best, and you might as well load it up with all 5 ways (chili, noodles, cheese, onion, beans).

For people in the Cincinnati area (and parts of Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, etc), you all know about the wonders of the 3-way (chili, spaghetti, and cheese). This place does it just as good if not better than the two popular chains in Ohio (Skyline and Gold Star). If Chili and Spaghetti sounds like a strange combination, give it a shot. It's a great treat at a great price. I recommend getting the jr sizes of the dishes, trust me, their big enough, and a considerably better value. I tried the chili dog here once too. That was good. They also have Texas, vegetarian, and turkey chili. Those are also good.

This diner-esque Lakeview joint has a split-personality--specializing in five-way chili, but also offering margaritas, pizza, burgers and hot dogs. Wander in and take a gander at the giant menu board, then order and…
