You can't go wrong...  5 Star Rating - World class

Wow! I have never heard anyone complain because they weren't pressured to BUY something. I just found Pacific Tanning and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the staff! I wish I discovered them sooner.

Flawless Spray Tan 4 Star Rating - Very good

Consistently the best spray tan I've had. this is the only salon in the city that specializes in just spray tan and their experitse shows. Natalie is a real pro and gives great, even coverage. fade is clean, color is stunning. i would recommend Pacific as the best airbrush tan.

PACIFIC TANNING IN PARK SLOPE 5 Star Rating - World class

the courteous, professional staff helped me out , it was my fist time tanning so they help me pick a good amount of time for my skin complexion and help me pick out a tanning lotion. they weren't pushy at all, i liked the packages they offered its good pricing. this is what I have come to expect from a tanning salon. they really set a good standard towards service and product. they had options for tanning beds and they helped me out so much. The tanning beds are top of the line. this is park slope type atmosphere. loved it.

Cons: NOT OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY

Great tanning salon, but yes, very pricey 4 Star Rating - Very good

This is a great place to go get a tan if you are living in the Park Slope area. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, and they don't push you to buy lotions or packages. (However, they can provide useful advice on the best lotions if you do want to buy them.)
The beds and rooms are always clean, the light bulbs get changed on a regular basis, and I always walk out of this place feeling refreshed, warm and a little browner.
The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is the pricing schema: it is very expensive and if you are on a student or the budget of a young professional, can be a little difficult to manage. You can get cheaper tans in our local hair or nail salons, but this place has far better beds and bulbs, so the price is worth it if you are interested in staying tan.

Pros: great atmosphere, nice beds, clean rooms, tidy bathroom
Cons: very expensive, sometimes staff can come across as a little snooty

Great service, great equipment, great location, beautiful facility. 5 Star Rating - World class

I've been going to Pacific Tanning since shortly after they opened. They are *slightly* out of the way for me (i.e. not across the street), but it's worth the walk, bus ride, or car trip. They are a bit more expensive than your local nail salon with a tanning bed, but WAY more than make up for it with quality. First of all, their entry-level bed is much more effective than the ones at the nail salons (and better maintained, cleaner, bulbs changed more frequently, etc.). I love going there for my tan and I can get 15 minutes of uninterrupted "me" time. People then ask me "You look tan. Where were you? did you go on vacation?" and I always answer: "yeah. 6th Avenue and 9th street." ;)

highly recommend them.
