I have never written a review like this but I feel that I must do anything I can to prevent anyone else from ever going to this practice. It began with my not being allowed to be in the room for my son's procedures which I was willing to dismiss if it meant quality care. The staff were fairly pleasant, the doctor was not. Dr. Johnson was curt, distanced and has no ability to relate to a child. It was actually quite shocking. My son would get more and more upset every time he was seen until his final visit when he actually told me that she "hit him". Since I had no proof that this was the case, I let it go thinking that perhaps he wasn't sure what had happened given that he was only 7. When all of his cavities had been fixed, I was told that I would need to follow-up with their office for routine care even though as I understood it, the referral was given by my regular dentist stating that the cavity work my son needed was beyond the regular dentist's scope of practice. I was referred to this office by my insurance company as it certainly would not have been my choice to continue going there after I experienced my first visit. I questioned why I couldn't go back to our regular dentist since the work was completed and was told that my son was now empanelled to them and had to receive his care at their office now. So I returned 6 months later for his cleaning and of course one of the fillings she put in had a small chip in it and had to be redone. One month after his cleaning, the practice received a denial on the claim for his cleaning from my insurance company stating that due to his age he could not be seen there. They didn't tell me this and simply let me come in for the subsequent filling appointment knowing that I would be charged for it because the claim would be denied. Unbelievable!!! I have never seen such unethical behavior in a health care professional and I work in a doctor's office. Now, of course, I am being charged for both visits. When I questioned their office about the insurance issues I was told that they aren't responsible for what they tell patients. It was my responsibility to call my insurance company and verify that what they told me was false information. Please, please, please do not go to this practice even if your insurance company claims this is the only pediatric dentist in their network. Show them these reviews and plead a case to be sent somewhere else for the sake of your own well being but more importantly for the sake of your child! This practice is evil.

Our whole experience was awful!!Starting with an hour and 15 minute wait for ascheduled appoinment!The Dr. was so nasty and unprofessional,she had a whole in her pants for gosh sakes.I could barely understand what the assistant was saying because she spoke so fast.I was not allowed in for the treatment.I realized why when w went and my son was having a nervous breakdown in the car.She hollared at him,told him to shut up,lied and said he wasnt getting needles and then proceeded to keep giving them to him.Tod him he needed to grow up.I could not believe all thestuff my son was telling me.He was crying hysterically and I had to keep his father from going there and telling the Dr. off!Instead i contacted the better business bureau and te ADA.This woman should not be allowed to work on children.Stay away from this office!

My son went in to have a tooth pulled (his 1st visit). They performed a full series of x-rays and an orbital for a front baby tooth. I kept asking why they were doing this and they said b/c he was there for a cleaning. I had to tell the same person 3x that we weren't! The dentist yelled at her dental assistant/hygienist in front of us. Not only did they waste our dental budget for the next 6 months but they went over and are now fighting me for more money! They call it a "comprehensive" visit. How is it comprehensive if all they did was the x-rays and wiggle his tooth out? I couldn't help but wonder why we were the only ones there but now I know. Stay away from this dentist as she only wants to gouge the richer clients in the area. We will never go back. If you have had a similar experience, please report her to the ADA as I did. Thank you!

They all have poor social skills, and are very unfriendly. I will be getting a tranfer to another dentist. The games there are a good addition, but it's the dentist and her staff who makes that place truly what it is, horrible.

The staff were not friendly and the Dentist was not friendly or kind. This dentist seems to think she is the only dentist in the area. I will not be going back here.
