I spend a lot of time trying new Japanese restaurants because most in this area don't get the best quality fish. In consideration for all restaurants in Palm Beach County, this restaurant serves the highest quality.

There are three Sushi restaurants East of I-95 that are very good; however, if you are looking for something West of I-95 and a bit more low-key, I can't imagine you'll find anything near the quality of Sushi King.

From the quality of their fish to their chef's excellent Hibachi cooking (kitchen cooking, not at the table), this is everything you could ask for.

The owner/operator is on-staff at all hours and really goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. It's a small, friendly restaurant where they'll refer to you by name and welcome you like "Norm" on Cheers.

Like the best Sushi bars, they'll prepare samples on occasion to introduce you to new tastes. They also have a tremendous presentation style.

The Sushi Chef is the same 7-days a week and in my experience, the consistency is 100%, which is hard to find in this area.

If you really want to impress your date and you have a fat pocket book, try Tsunami just East of I-95 on Okeechobee. If you're looking for similar grade, top-notch Sushi without the extra decor and price, then Sushi King should be your destination!

PROS: Best fish quality, Great service, Quick, Friendly, Consistent.
CONS: Rolls are a bit smaller than some alternative restaurants.
