Horrific Experiance!!! The Unethical and inhumane treatment of consumers should be enough to shut this place down. They refused to return my family pet because after paying $900.00 they made me sign an outrageous contract for the remaining $500. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this office. The staff is rude and nasty to deal with. Who holds a Animal from there family and REFUSES payment arrrangements. I had to call and file a complaint with BBB to get them to work with me!!!! DIsgusting!!!
I don't understand all the negative comments left by people. Mobile Vet and Dr. Reid are absolutely professional and wonderful. I have been bringing my pets to them for years and service has only improved. All the workers and doctors are very caring and friendly, I trust them with my pets any day.
If I could give ZERO stars I would! After a history of urinary blockages, my cat was blocked again(had surgery before in Westchester NY 7 years ago) Mobile Vet told me to get $1600 worth of procedures. I argued with them over this outrageous cost, they had no compassion, all they wanted was my money. I guess I wouldn't feel so bad if he was better, but he's still blocked and urinating all over my house!!Please tell everyone you know to NEVER take your beloved pets here!!!!
I had been bringing my dogs to this vet clinic for many years. I never had an issue until I had to put my dear Barley down. She was 15, couldn't walk without assistance and had trouble breathing. She was in pain/distress. My husband called to make the appointment and the girl was very rude. When I went in with Barley on that dreaded day, they didn't know what I was there for. They said you'r here for her shots right? That's what we have you down for. Really? The fact that I was crying hysterically must have gone right over their heads. They made us wait for an hour before the doctor finally saw us. (Remember, I had an appointment.) The office girls made an already difficult day even worse. The last straw was with my Min Pin. He was lethargic and constipated, after $700 worth of tests and x-rays, the doctor calls me at work to state my dog is deathly anemic and needs an emergency blood transfusion. He told me the dog was going to die. Long story short, he's not anemic, he's fine. He needed an enema. That was it. This was a year ago. My 'dying' dog is in perfect health and very happy, alert and perky. I will never bring any animal to this clinic ever again.
I have been bringing my pets to Mobile Vet for years now. Since Dr Reid took over the practice the services have only improved. He has replaced his old staff, who were less then helpful and at times unprofessional, with a new staff who are more then accomidating. The office is much cleaner now and much more welcoming. The prices are very good as well. I would reccomend Mobile Vet to anyone looking.
PROS: Clean, Caring, Accomidating
CONS: Not enough parking
I was working with a trapper to capture and fix a colony of feral cats. The trapper uses Dr.Reid at Mobile Vet. She dropped off a beautiful black female cat to be fixed. Notching the ear is part of the identification process of feral cats. This vet literally removed 2/3 of the cats ear. This was mutilation and animal abuse and had nothing to do with identification. I called 2 times and no one would take my calls and explain why this happened. Feral cats deserve the same respect as family pets. This vet obviously does not care for the animals.
I had been going to mobile vet for approx. 7 years. I was always happy with the veternarians and the girls that worked the desk were really wonderful--They were kind, knowledgable and very caring. When the staff changed, recently, the new girls were not very nice and had no compassion and did not know what they were doing. I called to get my cat an appt on a Thursday, because it wasnt going to the bathroom and seemed in a lot of pain, and they told me to come in on monday. The NEW VET I switched to told me my cat would have been DEAD BY TUES....And the prices have now skyrocketed for POOR CARE.....
PROS: I cannot think of one PRO about mobile vet
CONS: Unprofessional staff, not good vet care, NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!
I used mobile vet on several occasions for my 3 dogs. The previous owner was caring and reasonably priced. It came to my attention that the owner sold his business to the other vet that worked for him. I continued going. The prices jumped in cost, yet i could see that my pets care did not. I recently brought my dog there for an emergency. My dog was in a great deal of pain, yet the front desk was too busy doing what seemed to be nothing. My dog passed away. Im not saying that it was the vets fault, only stating that nobody seemed to care. I would never recomend this vet to anyone. I now take my animals to another vet in the next town over, and am so happy. I just wish i found them before my dog was over looked by mobile vet.
CONS: uncaring staff, very over priced, won't work with owners needs
I've used this practice off and on for years and one of the drs was the reason we left. He said some really abrasive things that did not seem that he was very caring about our pets. The Dr that has now taken over is extremely compassionate and caring. I will consider them again in the future now that the other vet has taken over the practice.
PROS: Convenient Location
CONS: Always depending on the vet you saw that judged the care your pet rcvd.
I have had the pleasure of using this vet from their meager beginnings in a van. The people and the vet have always been very compassionate and good with my pets. They have fit me in on emergencies, offered great care to cure my ailing pet and showed deep compassion when the final days of my pet were being faced.
Their prices are extremely reasonable. The office is always clean and orderly I trust them completely with my furry family members
