There are a few research indicating that learning 2nd language early during a child's development can really enhance their ability to learn. Yew Chung International School provide a good environment for that. I speak Chinese but my wife doesn't. And since my son spend most of his time with my wife I had a hard time getting him to learn more Chinese. But since he started in Yew Chung we've noticed that he seem to be more willing to use Chinese.
Everyone at the school seems friendly.

We are sending our 3 year old son here for pre school. Since my husband speaks mandarin chinese and I don't, we felt that our son would get more exposure to the language by going to a bilingual preschool. Actually, this school is also an elementary school and shares the campus with a german immersion elementary school. We like the exposure he gets to learning in chinese as well as the traditional preschool learning in english. Where he would only speak very little chinese at home before attending, he now sings songs in chinese and sometimes says a few phrases in chinese on his own. The school is mostly play based (at least for the 3 year olds). One nice feature is that since the preschool is attached to the elementary school, the preschoolers get some exposure to the kinds of events that go on in elementary school (such as a Christmas Pageant, Chinese New Year celebration, Book Fair, etc).
It is pretty competitively priced for the preschool, but the materials fee is quite high and is not prorated for late enrollees nor for half day versus full day.
In general I recommend this school at least for preschool.
