Dr. Jeffrey Taylor

Dr. Taylor is excellent. My wife is a pediatrician and we selected him for both of our children and he has been their doctor since birth. He is very aware and focused on the children while clearly explaining options when there are potential issues. No doctor is perfect, but he is one of the best pediatricians in Orange County. Our family highly recommends Dr. Taylor.

All HMO Dr's. are "in a rush" so get over it. At least he's patient with questions, friendly to both my kids, and very knowledgeable. My kids have been under his care for five years now. He's got kids of his own too, so he understands the parents POV.The front office staff is what you would expect from a busy office: busy. They have made a few mistakes, but quickly remedied them. They aren't super fast at getting back to the pharmacy for refills, but not terribly so. That is why I'm rating four, rather than five stars, as the front office is part of the doctor's services that are provided.

Dr. Taylor is to the point and always realistic. I don't feel like he pushes antibiotics or other pharmaceuticals if there is not an urgent necessity.

He always answers my questions and addresses my concerns in layman's terms. I feel confident with his instructions and appreciate his suggestions. I have gone through 3 milestone marks with my two daughters (2 1/2 years and 14 mo's.) recently. 1) Giving up the bottle at night 2)no more pacifier and 3) potty training. He reminds me that I am the boss and in control of my situations with habitual training.

He always makes my girls feel at ease and treats them with respect.

We are lucky to have Dr. Taylor as their pediatrition. His office is spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly. Appointments usually run right on time (unless you have an afternoon appointment, then earlier appointments that run over delay yours.)

Dr. Taylor seems like he is in a rush. As such, he misses many problem signs. He did not observe many problems with my child. When asked about the issues, he stated "he is normal, no problems." That was not the case. I would not recommend him.

Although a great pediatrician otherwise, Dr. Tayor forcible retracted the foreskin of our 9 week old's uncircumcised penis, and instructed me to do so regularly when bathing him. BIG NO NO! I even told him that I'd read retraction would occur in several years. My son's penis was thereafter inflammed, irritated and sore. I checked all current sources, particularly the American Academy of Pediatrics, who strongly advise against this procedure.

Two years back I moved to santa Ana, At that time I was looking for a pediatrician for my kid's vaccination. Then one of my friend told me about Dr Taylor. After that I continued my kid's vaccination from him. He is a nice and knowledgable doctor. He is friendly with kids.His staff is also very cooperative and full of warmth .Wating area is also cool. Some toys are there to keep your kids busy .Till their turn will come they can play there.

Hoag health center is near to my home .So I have chosen this for my kid's vaccination. We are going to Dr Taylor.He is very knowledgable pediatrician. He is very friendly too. Every time he is having smile on his face. His staff is also very kind and supportive. Also this health center is very neat and clean . So I recommend Dr taylor for Your kids.
