I have used Stella's as a meeting place for catching up with friends, a place to grab my morning coffee, a fallback if we needed an emergency ice cream, and a temporary office (love the WiFi). It fits the bill perfectly for all that and more. Pablo's Coffee is the bean provider of choice, and the baristas are excellent. The perfect coffee shop -- before you knew what they were!

You know - this place is even great for kids. Stella's make a wonderful hot cocoa, and there's enough entertainment around the shop (in the form of books, art, games) that my boys (8 and 5) were happily occupied for a full hour. Go - you'll love the coffees, and you'll love the atmosphere.

Stella's was a terrible experience last night. The line was out the door all night long and the baristas were working very slowly, chatting with people, etc. The back room was burning hot so I requested the AC be turned on, and the barista said he would do it but never did. Worst of all, the wireless internet was not working. It will be a long time before I go back again for the privelege of paying $2.50 for a cup of tea to sit in a sweltering hot room without the wireless service that was the whole reason I came in the first place.

Pros: very social, happening neighborhood

Cons: Wireless not working, slow service, sweltering heat

Stella's Coffee House is a laid back and comfy cafe where you can find books, magazines, art, music, and interesting people. Stella's was a Friday night hang out place for me and my friends during high school, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with lots of space to sit around and chat for hours. Now as a college student I've been able to use Stella's as a place to nuzzle myself into a corner and study for the next big exam. I definitely recommend Stella's to anyone who is looking for somewhere to relax, concentrate, or lounge in a unique atmosphere, not to mention they're open until 11:00pm so you can fit in a few extra hours of conversing or studying!

Stella's is the local color. This wonderful coffee shop is an attraction for all coffee lovers. They display art for sale by various artists and are very involoved with their community. The staff is wonderfully helpful, and the food and drinks are fabulous.

I love Stella's. It has a very friendly atmosphere - everyone who works there is friendly and personable, as is pretty much everyone who stops by regularly. My friend and I go every friday night and have made quite a few friends. The artwork that is displayed is fun, and for sale. There is live music every weekend. The coffe itself is very good - the tea selection is massive - and the pastries are delicious. Stella's isn't five-star by any means, but the atmosphere is laidback and comfortable - you feel as though you are sitting in your own living room. I highly recomend Stella's for a quiet night out with friends.

This is my new favorite coffee house. Not only is it walking distance from me, they also have great coffee drinks. The house has several rooms with tables, couches, and chairs which give it a great at home feel. The free internet keeps me there for hours sucking down more coffee. Great place to camp out on a rainy day, just don't forget your computer or a book.
