Hemingway's Happy Hounds

After reading the outrageous review by someone who wasn't secure enough in what they had to say that they didn't sign their comments, I felt that I had to respond. I have found Hemingway's Happy Hounds to be a place where the dogs are lovingly and safely cared for. The staff is carefully chosen and trained. My dogs have boarded and been in daycare there while I work for almost 2 years. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN INJURED OR ILL-TREATED!!! If only daycare facilites for children were as clean and carefully monitored as the dogs are at this facility. There are few places where the dogs can hardly wait to go. The only problem is having them want to go home!

Your Review doesn't mean much if you won't put your name to it. We have never had a dog here named Suzie that was injured. We have taken care of over 3000 pets and customers since we opened and thank God have NEVER had a serious injury! Sandie Hemingway

My dog was injured during her week long stay at Hemingway's Happy Hounds. She did not receive any medical attention, and I was not informed about her injury. This resulted in a severe infection. The staff was very unprofessional, and the owner was completely unsympathetic. I wouldn't recommend this kennel to anyone.
