alright, about 4 weeks ago, i bought a car from gordon, the check engine light was on and he told me it was probably the gas cap(sound familiar?) anyways, like an idiot, i purchased the car without checking everything out.

turns out that the o2 sensor was dead and needed to be replaced, not that bad... the check engine light came back on again, saying this time the engine was misfiring and the transmission range sensor was going bad.

i checked the oil level in the vehicle after someone telling me that it may be a little too much oil in the engine, what i found shocked me. the vehicle had over three quarts of oil above the max recommended level, and was literally choking the engine. i immediately drained to oil, only to find it looked as though it had been far to long since it was changed, which i found peculiar since the sticker stated it was changed just before i purchased it.

His mechanic is an idiot, and as gordon stated, completely uncertified. he told me he would take care of the problem with the vehicle, the headlights, the bad radio,etc... but when i got the vehicle back a week and a half later, there were more problem with it then when i dropped it off, chips and a crack in the windshield, and now the steering wheel was horribly misaligned.

the vehicle seemed to be too good a price to be true for what it was, and it turned out from gordon auto, it was. New buyers and old beware, don't buy from gordon auto wholesale if you want to get a vehicle that you dont have to invest a ton into to make it road worthy again.

Approximatey 6 weeks ago, I bought a car from Gordon's. At the time of purchase I noticed that the check engine light was on. I asked Mr. Gordon to diagnose the problem before I bought the car. He hooked it up to his "diagnostic" machine and stated that the problem was the "gas cap." A very very long story short, the problem was not at all the gas cap and ended up being a blown head gasket. Per two reputable mechanics, the car was shown to be "band-aided" before the time of purchase. I now own a $6,000 vehicle that I've been able to drive for two weeks and thanks to Florida's laws , there is nothing I can really do about it. Do not be a victim to these people!!! I'm a mother of four, a hard working nurse, and a full time student. Gordon's makes a business out of taking advantage of those will less than perfect credit. I made the mistake of trusting them and now myself and my family are paying for it dearly. When you buy a used vehicle from anyone, you never know where it has been or what it has been through. I will never buy used again and would suggest to anyone considering it, find a co-signer and buy new... with a warranty. You may pay a little more up front, but you will be paying a lot less with time and mechanics in the long run...

Three weeks ago I bought a car from Gordon Auto Wholesale in Pensacola, FL. There was a cash deal on a 2001 Ford Explorer, only $4000 for a car that was blue booked at $8000. Before I test drove the car, the salesman told me the heater and the drivers side key were not working, but they would fix the problems if I bought the car. This astounded me, I had never heard of a used car dealer repairing a car for free. Their mechanic couldn't fix the problem so he sent the car out to be fixed. When I picked up the car the AC, which had worked perfectly before hand, was blowing out hot air. I called Gordon Auto Wholesale 7 times in one week to ask what exactly had been done to the heater. No reply. When I finally reached somebody, they told me to come in at 9:00 the following morning to repair the lock and discuss the heater. I showed at 9:00, waited until 10:30 to talk with the mechanic who had not showed up yet. When I told them I would be back at 12:00, a worker started yelling at me saying, "they never send cars out, the car was as is (which I understand, but the AC problem came directly from what they did with the heater )", I waited 5 months to tell them, and I "got a car for $2000, what did I expect?" . When I came in at 12 the mechanic, who had clocked in at 11:20, ran to grab a sandwich. He came back and I waited 45 min. while he ate. He then walked past me, to go outside. When I started to talk to him he walked away because his friend had come by. I then went to the manager who completely blew me off. Everything else runs great on the car. It was still a great deal, but absolutely horrible customer service.
