If I could give it negative stars there would'nt be enough, I called this shop \nto order flowers for a funeral, the arrangement was to be delivered across the \nstreet from there Macon Rd. Location which is less then three hundred yards \naway, what I asked for was a creative colorful wreath, what I received was a \nsmall rather bland basket ball sized wreath, I was charged (now get this) \n$262.50 for a piece of round floral foam and after counting twenty one \nflowers... I guess because the shop is so close to the funeral home that gives \nthem the lack of morals card to extremely over charge there customers, if id \nhave seen this in the store it would've never been sent to my loved one. Ever. \n\nBottom line unless you like paying extreme prices for less then grocery store \narrangements the I suggest you use anyone but Terri's florist, businesses like \nthis are a perfect example of why small shops of all kinds are so poorly looked \nupon, \n\nNo moral ethics or reason to the way this shop conducts business, except to take advantage of mourning family and friends. \n

Got some cheap garbage arrangement that I could of got from Wal-mart. These flowers where for my wife's birthday. She loves sunflowers so I asked for a nice arrangement with sunflowers. Well sunflowers was the smallest I have ever seen on an arrangement surrounded by a cheap uninspired decoration of flowers. All for 50.00 delivered. Should of went with Eddible arrangements or Lewis Jones Flowers & Gifts. I do not recommend Terri's Florist unless you want to waist money. If you want a good arrangement try Lewis Jones Flowers & Gifts they put together a nice arrangement for valentines at the same price point.

Terri's Florist helped my family after the sudden death of my father-in-law. They were kind and patient as we chose a beautiful arrangement with the colours we preferred, then delivered it for free to the funeral home. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to them.

Regarding the irrational rantings of the dumpster diver, her "police officer husband" could get into severe trouble for what she is doing. She is correct that once something is placed in the trash it is public property, HOWEVER trespassing precludes one's ability to rummage through said trash. Also, as a supposed business owner, she should know that if she were to sustain injury on their property, they would be considered liable. Not to mention that seeing a dishevelled person rummaging in a dumpster would most certainly deter prospective customers from approaching the store.

Terri's Florist has done a superb job on their pricing for a last minute arrangment. We've been over 3 times in a period of 1 month. My husband's soldiers were having babies left and right, and we were making last mintue baby visits. I read by on of my friends that Terri's was the best, so by being new to town I had no choice but to drop by. I loved their beautiful arrangement of roses for a reasonable and better price than the rest ( I later drove around town to check on pricing and they are the best). One of the times I walked I asked for the same flower arrangement but he color was off, the employee was happy to change it for me. Thanks a lot!!!

I could not believe what I was reading, and how unfair the comments about Terri's Florist. I don't know the management personally; however being the father of two daughters (one in college & the other in High School), I have had many needs for florist services over the years. There has been MANY times I would wait till the last minute or need something special, and the team at Terri's Florist have always been very professional and fair; even though I know at times my request must have seem odded to them. I just want them to know they are TERRIFIC and how much there services has meant to me and gotten me many points from my daughters!!! For this--- I want to say THANK YOU! David Mc

I do not know what your husband being a "ranking police officer" had to do with you rummaging through garbage cans. I, too, am the wife of a "ranking police officer" an think that your comment against Terri's Florist not wanting you to go through their garbage is understandable. Your comment was an embarrassment to all officers and their families. I do not understand why you think your husband's job gives you any additional rights than anyone else. I keep my husband's position completely separate in my conversations and dealing with my associations. Please do not "trash" your husband's name or the Police Department in your everyday dealings, especially rummaging through garbage cans.

This is in response to the ugly review we recieved from the police officers wife. To start with I would like to say that we are a christian flower shop. We try to be kind to everyone and do not judge people for the way they look. If the lady that had a chair pulled up to our gated dumpster , not on the side of the road but in the middle of our property, had come in to our business and told us what she wanted and wanted to do we would have been happy to help her. what we do not take kindly to is someone backing their car up to our dumpster in the middle of the day and rummaging through our trash. Being a police officers wife she should know that if she had fell off that chair and hurt herself on our property that we would have been the ones responsible. I want to apologize if my employee seemed harsh in words to you but we have a business to run and we were not judging you by your appearance. Again I am sorry if we hurt your feelings but slander doesnt get you anywhere. We have been in business many years and we do the best we can to please everyone. Thank you to all of our customers for their continued support. Sincerely, Natalie Foster

Boycott Terri's Florist on Macon Rd

This is the letter/review I have slammed the internet with. My feelings were so hurt and I felt so humiliated I wanted to just die. Ya'll that know and love me are very aware of the fact, I march to my own beat. I do my own thing. I'm odd and quirky. I can make due in any situation and still find a way to laugh about it. My tastes and my hobbies ARE unusual. But, I ENJOY THEM, and I am the one I have to make happy. I am happy, happier than most people...most of you will wholeheartedly agree with that statement. I bother no one and do my own thing. I find the ray of sunshine EVERY dang time. I love my life.... full of it's oddities, quirks and eccentric moments. I'm different, but I'm kind. I'm unusual but, I would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it. I'm weird but, if you called and needed me at 3 am I would be there in record time, no questions asked. I am strangely unique, I love hard and share kindness and compassion at every opportunity. But, most importantly...I am loved very deeply by some pretty amazing people. Yesterday, I was treated like a lowlife vagrant for no reason what so ever. My feeling are still hurt over it. SO, I am asking for the support of my friends and family. Please do not do any farther business with Terri's Florist on Macon Rd. Read below and you will understand why I feel so strongly about this. Thank you for your support in advance.

In these hard economic times, I sometimes go to florist shop's trash recepticals to find left overs..for example... petals to use for potporri (for my home use only, not resale). I love flowers so much and really can't splurge in this economy, so I do what I can to brighten and make my home cheerful. It's a hobby of mine and I enjoy it. It's not easy work and can be just plain gross at times, but my love for flower treasures out ways that.
I have dealt with Albright's Florists (VERY kind people, even giving me the few fresh ones they could spare. As well as, Ann's Porch. They are truly kind people setting leftovers just outside the backdoor for me, so I wouldn't get so hot and dirty looking for petals).
Well, I had never been to Terri's Florist. When I looked inside the bin there where no flowers in tack, but plenty of petals. I was about to climb on my chair in the blazing sun when a woman approached me. I am not sure if it was Natalie Foster or Terri Olsen..both are co-owners and managers.
I was told I could not look in the trash bin. I was kind of confused, so I asked her why, no one has ever had a problem with me looking for a few petals..mind you, in the TRASH!. She stated and I quote "because I don't want you to". That was it! No more. No reason other than to just to be hateful.
WELL, she had no idea I am a police officer's wife and I rattled off the city ordinance that states "once an article is place in a trash receptical or for that matter placed on the side of the road it becomes abandoned property".
She said she "didn't care. If one person looked in the bin others might too"(and who would that hurt, some people can't even feed their families and are losing their homes). All I could do was just stare at her.
Then when I could finally speak, I said "I honestly didn't know people like you really exsisted". I was shocked and disgusted. ARE YOU FOR REAL? Are you so heartless, selfish and just down right cold that you would rather see those petals (your TRASH) be hauled off to a landfill rather than share your throw- aways to someone that might get a smile from a few flower petals.
I asked you for nothing, I didn't bother you in any way. I find you and your establishment shameful! You thought you were dealing with a homeless person. I'm sure I looked a sight, after all it was 100 degrees out there and I was hot, tired and dirty. But, you can't judge a book by it's cover. Your obvious snobbery just happend to be towards a ranking Police Officer's wife that is well respected and loved in this community. I told you I know A LOT of people and I vowed to inform them not to use your business. Word of mouth can make or break you. Your cruel, selfish nature showed it's ugly face. Between my friends, family, MY customers (yes, I am a business owner too), my spouse's co-workers, their friends and family, ANYONE we know, or know of us will be enlightened as to the kind of snobby business owner you are....concider my promise kept!

Pros: not one

Cons: hateful, selfish snobbery

I have worked as a floral designer in the past, and I have had nothing but excellent dealings with Terri's. They recently did the funeral flowers for my husband's funeral, and they were gorgeous. Thank you very much to all of the ladies at Terri's. Keep up the excellent work!
