My father is a patient here. The doctor misread his chart and ordered blood thinners which he's not supposed to take. Now he is bleeding and likely to die. The doctor refused to discuss the situation with my family. The nurses are mean and uncaring. Officials need to do an investigation into this facility and close it down.

I was recently talked into going to Vibra by some friends. I was on my 8th surgery in less than 22 months. 3 of those were within 20 days of each other, and one was for lung cancer. I arrived there, and really didn't get a very good feeling from the place. The attendants behaved as if they were minimum wage employees who really weren't interested. I had a very large and deep abdominal wound, and had just lived thru quite the nightmare. I was placed on a gurney instead of a hospital bed which was very uncomfortable for me due to the placement of my wound. (No way for me to elevate my legs or knees) So, I didn't want to be there. The place just didn't feel safe to me. I wanted to be home where home health care was provided for me. I kept telling them that. I am just now finding out what really happened. 3 of my friends showed up and I tried to convince them to take me home. Apparently a Dr. there pulled them out in the hall and told them I was a drama queen and just looking for attention. Really, after 8 surgeries. It's true I was physically and emotionally exhausted, but I am certainly no drama queen. This is the behavior I must have sensed that made me feel so uncomfortable. She lied and said they were the best wound center in my city. Can't find anything anywhere that backs that up. So my friends leave, which resulted in me being held there against my will. Of course they didn't want me to check out, I got the bill and they were charging $3800 per day. Too much for not having a hosptial bed available for me. So it finally got so bad I became suicidal and got myself out of there. I was returned to the ER where I had my surgery and the nurse there told me not to worry and good for me for getting myself out of the situation. Shame on my friends for listening to that Dr. who obviously knew nothing about me. I went home, and received care from Providence Home Health. It is the best healthcare I've ever received. Nurses were here every day and a wound specialist every two weeks. Be careful when placing your loved ones in this facility. It is not what they advertise. I found there was no kindness or compassion, and just recently found out about what this Dr. had said in an apology message from one of the friends who was there that evening. In my opinion what she did is borderline slander not to mention unprofessional.
