Bought all the wine for a huge Sangria recipe I needed and the options were vast!. Cute gifts to buy for the wine lovers and snacks too, they have a good selection of specialty beer as well. The place smelled so good when I went there, they were cooking in their cafe area...food options good too.

Poor Customer Service
by elliottstein
I recently tried out theRound Rock store, and I was very disappointed in the customer service I received. The woman that assisted me was just not very pleasant. She not only snapped at me, but I believe she assumed I was a young kid jerking around the store because she was very rude and short with me when she said "ID?" I am 30 and even if I was younger I still deserve adequate customer service.
I never write these sort things about a business, but she really bothered me. I usually go to Vino Vino in Austin, but wanted to try out Grapevine. I will never return. I will keep going to Vino Vino so that I may be treated like a valued customer.
Pros: they sell all kinds of spirits
Cons: rude staff!

Selection and Service!
by kevinsub
I grew up in Chicago and Minneapolis, used to Sam's and Surdyk's. This store is just as good. Moved to Austin 11 years ago for gradwork (UT) and then work (Dell, of course). They have an amazing beer selection, amazing Italian and French wine aisles and you can get lost for hours in the California Cabernet Sauvignon wing. What took them so long to open?
Pros: Amazing selection. I always talk to the same guys every time. Very helpful, educated, and willing to go that extra mile. Not used to that in Round Rock!
Cons: They need signs. It's difficult to figure out what's where. Hard to get to.
