I vote this 0 stars! Was greeted by 7 bored workers reading newspapers - spent $25 for a dripping mess, with no apology. Was offered $5 trade for another really bad pizza - worst pizza experience of my life, am over 50 !! Hope the bad

This is a different style of pizza for us, but it is good. Read the menu carefully and try something different.

Pizza outside of NYC is usually a little under cooked and doughy. Yaghi's is no different. I order from there about once a month and if you ask them to make it "well done" it can be really close to a New York pie. (Better not refer to it as a pie though, they'll look blankly at you. haha.) By far the best I've had in Austin.

Now if someone could figure out that it's not a bagel if you don't blanche the dough. (It's a roll.)

Delivery took more than an hour when quoted 45 mins. Pizza was luke warm. worst ingredients I have ever seen on a pizza! Shredded italian sausage with grissle! you'd be better off buying a dollar pizza at the grocery store. Now I have to figure out what to eat for dinner...again.

Pros: the honesty of the staff when NOT recomending the previously frozen wings!

Cons: every part of the experience

Being from Brooklyn I am always on the hunt for the best pizza in town and I've finally found it at Yaghi's. Crisp and very tasty. The garlic knots are not the proper size but they are pretty good. They need to open a store up north!

Pros: Great pizza for a great value

be aware: citysearch NEVER updates their stars ratings at top... great pizza. Not quite NYC quality as advertised, but thats probably b/c there not really Italians making it. Nonetheless quite good - I suggest picking up, not delivery as they can be slow. Pizza can be slightly soggy if sat around a while. like all pizza. overall - good place for good pickup pizza. gyros arent too large but are decent.

The delivery service has been atrocious the past couple of times. Tonight, they told me it would be 30-40 minutes and ended up taking an hour and a half to get here. When it did, it was luke warm and somewhat soggy. They used to be great, but I've given up on them - an hour and a half is too long to wait for mediocrity.

I am originally from New York City and you can imagine my disappointment everytime someone in Texas advertises genuine "New York Pizza" but this place is the real deal. The crust is flavorful and thin. There's lots of cheese. The pizza bends just like it's supposed to! I was so surprised by this fabulous pizza in a little strip mall. The customer service is great too. Oh and it's clean. Wow. Don't miss it for a taste of what pizza is supposed to be. I asked and they really are from New York - upstate N.Y. but still N.Y. BTW - Another reviewer suggested asking for your pizza to be cooked more to make it crispy - this is a personal preference and not consistant with New York Style Pizza which should NEVER be crispy... let them make it exactly as they intend and enjoy perfection.

Stick with the pizza and salads - the rest of the menu is unremarkable at best. BUT the salads are fresh and the pizza really can accurately be called New York style. The sauce is good but they use a very light hand. Ask for extra sauce on the side if you like that. I also recommend asking for your pie well-done as they sometimes undercook. When fully baked, the crust is crisp on the outside but still foldable. The cheese is perfect - a little gooey, but not stringy, and tasty even when cold.

Pros: craveable pizza, fairly fast delivery, cheap lunch deals

Cons: have to ask for pizza well-done to get it cooked all the way! sandwiches and calzones are definitely best avoided.

Yaghi's serves up a thin-crust New York style pie that appeals to the pizza lover in me. You can always judge a pizza joint by the simplest of its creations: the cheese pizza. And it passes the refrigerator test. You can pop it out of the box the next morning and it still tastes great cold.

Another really excellent pizza is the Feta pizza and my personal favorite: the meat pizza.

The newest location, it appears that all Yaghi's are consistent with their quality of service and food. The staff was very nice, offering great recommendations. My food was fresh and so hot, I had to use a fork!! It's good to know that you can find the same quality food and service at all of their locations in Austin!

I decided to try the lunch special: two slices of cheese and a drink for $3.99. I couldn't even finish the first pizza, so I saved the other one for dinner (which heated up nicely) and got two meals for $4---unbeatable! The pizza is made fresh - no heat lamps here. I highly recommend Yaghi's for the quality of the food and the great prices.
