We had been customers of this particular Continental Cleaners for 3 years, every week (my husband travels weekly for business, so we always have several shirts to be cleaned.) I came in one day to pick up our laundry and drycleaning and had noticed that my $150 blouse looked like it was hung inside out. Upon closer examination, it was not--but all of the golden spots that decorated the blouse were gone! I had had this blouse cleaned here at least 3 times before. (It was interesting because, that same day, I noticed a poster on the wall indicating a new cleaning process. Furthermore, I called a friend who also frequented Continental Cleaners to find out that she had noticed the same poster.) In any case, I calmly brought my blouse to the attention of the employee who was working and she, literally, shooed me away from her desk. (Probably because there was a line of customers and she was more intent on getting their business than keeping mine.) She said it was not their fault (hello? decorations are now missing!); she said that after repeated cleanings, the shirt finally lost all decoration (there was no evidence of it ever beginning to lose decoration, mind you); and that I would have to return it to the boutique that I had purchased it from two years before. I asked to speak to a manager and she said that she was the manager. So, I asked for the owner. I gave the 'owner' a call which rang back into the establishment. I finally called after the manager's shift was over and left a message for the owner. I repeatedly called, but never received a response. I could not believe their disloyalty after we had provided them with so much business.

For the money you cant beat getting your clothes laundered here, but be careful they have been known to lose items and they are never to be seen again. When they lose items they always are willing to give you store credit but that wont bring back the clothing that has been lost.

Since the new owner took over about a year ago this place has gone completely downhill!!! They lost one of my Tommy Bahama Shirts ($150), then misplaced my suit jacket..finally found them but the owner instead of taking responsability blamed one a long time employee. Now the straw that broke the camels back is that they got red all over the back of one of my white dress shirts! They promised it would be back in 24 hrs., but then upon trying to pick it up today they said sorry, and that they would not make a second trip out to drop it off. Needless to say I had to buy a new dress shirt because I needed to have two for the weddings I had to go to this weekend. I have also known of one other person that has had a garment lost, and several others that no longer do business with them due to extremely poor quality and customer service. Do youself a favor...find another dry cleaner.
