Brown Mark F Md - Sutton Children's At Christus

We met Dr Brown when my 17 month old had to have emergency surgery due to an abcess. He did a great job on the surgery and we went home. I called him on Halloween night (a Saturday night) concerned about my son's wound care. He did much to assuage my fears and give me the confidence I needed to take care of my son. He also let us come in without an appointment on Monday to remove the rest of my son's wound packing to make caring for him easier.

In the office, he was extremely friendly, genuine and answered all of my questions. His staff was friendly and efficient and the office was filled with toys. My son even got to take a truck and a ball home from the toy stash. I highly recommend him to any parent.

After a hospital emergency, Dr. Brown was recommended for a follow up. We were on time for our appointment. The wait while a little long was quite tolerable given how child friendly the waiting room is. However, once we were finally in a room, Dr. Brown was late and dismissive. He looked briefly at us and then asked an intern to conduct our visit to help him "clear" some of the backlog of patients. We come from a family of doctors and found his approach lacking in professionalism and appropriate bed side manner.

Our child ultimately was misdiagnosed by the intern and had to have surgery which Dr. Brown did not do.
