I live two streets away and come here often. Tacos are some of the best in the city! Up there with Cactus on Vine! Only thing, don't order the nachos! Not their specialty! I ordered them tonight for the first time and they have those American circle nachos from a bag that you get at a roller skating rink or 7 eleven. They put all the good stuff on like real avacado, sour cream, cilantro, onions, asada, tomatoes, etc, but the chips are totally American. Order the tacos! Totally yummy and authentic!!!

Pros: food, price

Cons: none

This is a tiny little taco stand on Santa Monica Blvd. It is so small, the building is only for food prep. There are couple plastic chairs in the back parking lot if you want to sit and eat. At night, they cook on the side walk. I just can't have enough of their $1 tacos ^_^ The tacos are those small soft taco you get in Mexico. They keep it simple, so just meat w/ a little onion and cilantro. I am very impressed with their el pastro. I normally don't like pork that much, but their el pastro is to die for. Their cabaza and buche never disappointed me. This place is so cheap. I normally eat 3 tacos with one big glass bottle Coke from Mexico, only cost me $4. I believe they open til 4am in the morning. So it would be perfect to go there grab some tacos after clubbing in Hollywood.

Pros: $1 taco

Cons: no inside seating, eat either on the street or in the parking lot
