Dr. Preston is fantastic. Her office clean, hip and interesting for kids. Her treatment for my son's "lazy eye" was amazing and fast! We couldn't be more please or more grateful for the excellent results. Dr. Preston is very good at what she does. She is busy and sometimes runs behind on her schedule, but that is because she gives attentive and personal care.

A note to parents: our dilated exams generally take 70-90 minutes, but because children's exams are often unpredictable, we encourage you to plan for up to 2 hours to account for any complications that may arise.

Additionally, we advise you to verify your vision insurance provider before your exam, as it may differ from your medical insurance, even if they are covered under one plan.

More about Northwest Pediatric Eye Care

Drs. Karen Preston and Kevy Simmons perform comprehensive pediatric eye exams and specialize in the management of eye turns (strabismus), lazy eye (amblyopia), functional vision disorders (focusing and alignment strain), and other developmental vision disorders (congenital cataracts, ocular albinism, optic nerve hypoplasia, etc).
