I took my 4 year old dog to the vet early last December because he had been puking and started to poop blood. I saw Dr. Sonny and he did a bunch of tests on him and told me that most dogs in his condition usually have seizures and usually don't make it. After giving him some fluids, he said he was doing better but he didn't have a definite answer to what was wrong with him other than his sugar levels were very low. He sent him home right around the time they closed and advised me to put karo syrup under his gums every couple hours and come back the next day for a follow up. About 20 minutes later he started pooping straight red blood and I called the vet and he assured me it was normal. As soon as I got off the phone, my dog had a seizure. My mom and I tried driving back to companion to be seen and they had closed. Thankfully my mom knew about Dove Lewis so we decided to drive there and on our way he had another seizure and died in my arms. I spoke with Sonny a few days later in the clinic and he showed no remorse or concern as I was sitting there crying about my dog. I asked him why he didn't give me an emergency contact number or send my dog to an overnight clinic since his sugar levels weren't stable when he was sent home, and he said he would have sent him to a different clinic if he thought that was what was needed. I felt like all of my questions and concerns were irritating him and weren't taken under consideration. He then stated he was going to give me a refund toward my balance, and has yet to almost 5 months after. He ignored all of my phone calls and letters to him regarding a refund until I told his staff that I was going to come to the clinic to talk to him in person, then I got a letter in the mail a few days later stating that he was unsure if he was going to give me a refund now because he heard that people connected to me were bad mouthing him and his clinic.( I think its because my mom pulled all of her animals charts from the clinic and told them she will be going elsewhere) I think it was very unprofessional the way he handled the entire situation. I don't think Dr. Sonny should be a veterinarian because it definitely shows that he is not compassionate about his job or animals, I never received any kind of remorse about my dogs death from this clinic. I did however receive sympathy cards from both Dove Lewis and the Companion Pet Clinic on 82nd where I used to take my dog. Dove Lewis also sent me home with a Memory book and footprints of my dog. In conclusion, I will NEVER take any of my animals to this clinic again. My dog was like my kid, since I do not have any children, and I will never stop missing him!

Dr Sonny Randhawa is a decent veterinarian. I??ve been with him sense 1989. I would have given him 4stars if he did not employ that cruddy also very large receptionist woman at the front desk, I can not give him 4 stars because she is an employee there.

Her rude behavior was appalling and she was unable to behave professionally on a simple task. That transaction disturbed me so much! I will no longer take my animals there.

She has been there longer then any other receptionist, and she is still ignorant on how to do her job appropriate.

My sister took her cat to Dr Sonny 7 times with the same problem diagnosed as a urinary tract infection, and he gave her antiobiotics every time. He did not check to see if there was anything else going on. She finally took him to a different vet who discovered he had stones and a bladder that was about to burst! He has now been at the vet for 3 days while they drain his bladder, which is bruised, and he will likely have this problem for the rest of his life, if he even makes it thru this time. I would NOT recommend Dr Sonny to anyone, and neither would my sister!!!

I have been taking my animals here for years for everything from Hip surgery to run of the mill vacinations. I like the staff they are always friendly, and the Doctor is good with the animals and very calm.

Dr. Sunny and his staff are amazing. When you walk in you really feel like you and your pet are welcome. They make sure to meet your needs from the second you walk in the door. The environment is warm and inviting and you are always seen promptly
Dr. Sunny is very compassionate towards his clients and their owners and makes sure you can understand everything that you need to know. He never reccomends anything that your pet does not need.
He has been the vet and will continue to be the vet for my dog.
