Seasons 52

We were looking for a different place to dine and found Seasons 52. It was really a wonderful experience. I had seafood (shrimp) and was really delicious. I especially loved the little desserts. It was a delightful dining experience in every aspect. The following week we brought our friends there. More pricey than your average restaurant but well worth it.

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful food, service "ok"

I've heard a lot of good things about Seasons52, so when we were looking for a special place, we decided to check the restaurant out. I didn't know this, but it's called "Seasons52" for reason. They change their menu with each Season, so while it's 82 degrees here in South Florida, we ate from the "Winter" menu. Plus, they change their soup and vegetables ever week, so there's 52 different varieties offered throughout the year. Pretty interesting and unique. Also, nothing on their menu is over 475 calories, and they don't have deep friers, so there's no fried foods and they also refrain from using any heavy creams or butters.

Our food was delicious. I had venison, which I have not had since I was a child. It was prepared perfectly, as were the accompanying asparagus and mashed potatoes. My honey had carmelized sea scallops, which were all delicios, served with pearl pasta and parmesan asparagus. We ordered a side dish of their vegetable for the week, which was acorn squash glazed with honey. Now, I've made acorn squash many times and mine has never come out this good!

I forgot to mention we started our meal with a tomato topped flatbread and baby spinch salad. We ended it with 2 small desserts....key lime and rocky road. The desserts are very small, but after that meal, you don't need anything huge.

Our server, Pilar, was friendly and informative, however, she forgot to order our salad and when we asked about it, she acted as if she remembered. The salad came and within two minutes our dinners were served, if was obvious she had forgotten. she never came back during the entire course of our dinner to make sure everything was alright and when she served our coffee, she had to be asked twice about dessert. I can't say that it was because she was overly busy, because it appeared to us that she only had 4 tables to worry about. I think she was just very forgetful. However, that won't stop us from going back again.

Our bill came to just $80, which, considering the type of place and the food we had was quite reasonable.

I highly recommend Seasons 52, it's worth the price. Do be sure to make reservations ahead of time!
