Greg and Andrew were wonderful. They took our ideas and turned them into art on our bodies. My daughter and I had a great time and would recommend these two artists to anyone getting a tattoo. They are down to earth easy to talk to and fantastic artists. I am bringing my husband back in the fall for his first tatto! Thanks so much guys!

My friend and I get tattoos on every trip we take. We where very excited to go to Voodoo as we had heard great things about them. It was the best experience we have had. Joe Cool did both our tats and they turned out better than we could have imagined. Joe was friendly, professional and very fast. The prices are very reasonable and 1/2 of what shops on the strip cost. We are even talking about a 24 hour trip back just for another tattoo!

I spoke with the owner over the phone. He was very nice. This was my first tattoo. He gave me an exact idea of how much it would cost along with the time required. I made an appointment. He was there. He did a fabulous job! I am very happy with the result. He gave me a copy of the instructions and went over them in detail. I followed them to the letter. I had this done 10 days ago and I am VERY happy with this!! THEY ARE AWESOME! BETTER THEN EXPECTED!!!!

I got a tattoo by Joe Cool, from Voodoo Tattoo this past summer. I love this place! I had wanted to get a tattoo for a long time, and knowing how permenant the procedure was, really did alot of investigation into who I wanted to do it. Voodoo Tattoo had alot of great reviews and I personally got in touch with Joe through e-mails. He was very prompt and professional and made me feel comfortable about my decision to use him. I was on a girls trip in August and he worked around our schedules and had me in and out within an hour. He was very genlte and instantly put me at ease. The shop was clean and everyone in it was very professional and nice. Joe charged me fairly and I can guarantee that no other reputable tattoo shop can beat his price! The tattoo (on my foot) has healed beautifully and I constantly receive compliments on it. Thanks so much Joe for such a beautiful piece. I'll be back!

I went to Voodoo tattoo on recomendation from a friend, simply put it was a great experience. The guys at the shop were very accomadating and very fun to joke with. The shop was very clean and and very chill. I got my tattoo from Brad, it came out better than I ever could have expected. I also saw the work that Andrew and it was awesome. Again, If I could recomend a place to anyone, it would be Voodoo tattoo

i went to voodoo tattoo after being reffered to brad by two very close friends. the shop was very clean and brad was down to earth and friendly. I decided to get my foot tattood that day an experience that brad warned me ahead of time would not be very pleasant. IT WASNT BAD AT ALL! way worse things have happened. he was very gentile and let me know that if i needed to stop for a break just to let him know. my tattoo didnt have any trouble healing at all. i just kept it clean and moisturized and 3 weeks later it looks great. the color is fluid throughout and the entire tattoo and the outline isnt too bulky or leaking or anything :) i love my tattoo and ill definitley be back to see brad in december :)

I received a very bad first tattoo from "rad" brad. While he was filling it in, I told him it was not filled in all the was and he said he was done. I got a nasty infection within 12 hours. and after 24 hours my groin was in pain and I could not walk without limping. My dr put me on very strong antibiotics for 14 days when I returned home and he said I should report the shop to OSHA. My tattoo is now an outline mostly and all raised with scar tissue. I feel like he took advantage of me just for the business. I would steer clear of this place. I went to have my tattoo checked out here locally and the artist said that Brad went too deep for the whole tat and that is why it is scarred and the color is going away. he said "that guy should be ashamed of himself"

Pros: my infection EVENTUALLY went away. I did not have to amputate my leg.

My sisters and I wanted to get matching tattoos this summer while we were in Vegas. Two of us would be getting our first. We researched for months and decided Voodoo was the best place, according to the reviews. We made an appointment to have the owner do our work, personally speaking to him on the phone. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment, the doors were locked. We waited 45 minutes, and decided to leave. We phoned an hour and a half later, and someone finally answered. The owner was not going to be in that day after all, he was at some tattoo show. So we decided to let Brad do our work, although we were disappointed. We made yet another appointment, but had to wait over an hour one we got there because he was working on another customer during our scheduled time. Upon showing him what we wanted, we were informed that he could not do what we had our hearts set on. Simply put, he would not do un-outlined work, which we were under the impression that any skilled tattoo artist could do. Se we settled for changing the colors we?d picked for a reason. So we all 3 got our tattoos and left. One of my sisters got hers on her arm, down by her inner wrist. She noticed that the skin was torn in several places. She is going to have to have hers repaired, but has a lot of scar tissue that she is concerned about. It looked really bad. My other sister got hers on her ankle had severe pain up her entire leg within hours making it hard to walk, and wound up with a very bad infection that required antibiotics. She also will need to have it repaired as the ink came off with all of the infected tissue. Mine was the best of the three, but today, 4 months later, the ink has crept outside the lines, is splotchy and is still raised and does not seem to be healed. All 3 of us followed the tattoo care suggestions to a T. We will never go back to Voodoo Tattoo, nor will we recommend it to anyone we know.

I read all the great reviews about this shop so when the wife and I went to Vegas we decided to stop and check it out, glad we did, clean shop, friendly helpful staff made us feel at home. Brad did my wifes work and it came out beautifully, she couldn't be more pleased with it and can't wait to go back for more, Andrew was very cool, he hooked me up with some tribal work on my arm and did an excellent job, he is an excellent artist. For the rest of the nite and the next day, people kept coming up and complimenting us asking who had done our work so we let them know and where to go. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely amazing place! A friend and I were taking our first trip to Las Vegas last week and decided it would also be a great time to get our first tattoo. I had done a lot of research on what I wanted but couldn't find just the right thing. I found Voodoo Tattoo on CitySearch and a couple of other places that gave them great reviews. I emailed Joe Cool and he responded with his suggestions. All good intentions starting out, but I somehow managed to forget the sample photos. The guys at the shop showed EXTREME patience while helping me locate them again. Finally got some ideas, and scheduled our tattoos for Sunday. Joe designed an amazing tattoo with Lily of the Valley and Morning Glories to represent each of my kids. He did my friend's tattoo on her wrist and advised her on the color and made her feel extremely comfortable (fastest tattoo he's ever done!). Mine isn't a very large tattoo, which is exactly what I wanted and I LOVE it. I'll be able to add additional flowers (depending on grand-children, but I hope I have some time before I need to). Don't waste your time or money at the "big" name shops in some of the casinos, Voodoo Tattoo is just a cab ride away from the strip and well worth it. Even the dispatcher for the cab company loves Voodoo Tattoo!

Thanks again guys!! You really made it an awesome experience. I need another T-shirt, the kids were fighting over the one I brought home. Joe - keep up the great job with your kids, that ranks you WAY UP there in my book!

Based on everyone's recommendations, I decided to visit Voodoo Tattoo while vactioning in Vegas. My experience was extremely pleasant. The shop was really clean and professional looking. Joe the shop owner was a great person to speak with and very helpful. Andrew actually did my tattoo and he was great. He took his time to outline what I wanted, lisened to my requests and gave me a great tattoo! I was a little afraid of the pain involved with having a tattoo on the inside of my ankle, but Andrew was so gentle and caring, the whole experience was a breeze! I highly recommend this place and would definatley go back.

My girlfriends and I went to Vegas for my 25th B-day. It was the first time for all of us and we had an amazing weekend...BUT my weekend was extra special because I capped it off with my first tattoo! I had researched places in Vegas before I left NYC and knew that I wanted to go to Voodoo. After my experience I can say all the previous reviews are dead on. The guys are great; very friendly and open to discussing what you want. Steve did my tattoo and after he was done I almost cried...it was exactly what I wanted. He is an amazing artist who really knows what he is doing. He asked me my ideas and then shared with me what colors would look best and the location he thought would be nice. I went with it and am beyond satisfied...I can?t stop looking at it! Thanks again Steve - you did a wonderful job!

I also had a great experience at Voodoo Tattoo. Joe Cool gave me my first tattoo in May 2007! I hope to be back in May 2008 to get another...as well as convincing my friend to get her first tattoo! He was very kind in getting me relaxed and concerned about the placement of the tattoo. Great job guys...we will be in touch in May 2008! Definately excellent tattoo place....I would recommend Joe Cool (yes, his real name!) he was great!!

VoDoO tAtToO could well be one of the best bargains in Las Vegas, My daughter, girlfriend and I went to Vegas at the end of December to celebrate my girfriends b-day. We had originally intended to get a little INK from my girl Lacey @ H and H. The bad news was Lacey has just relocated to Cali. So I did some research on the internet and Voo Doo had by far the most positive reviews. I also asked around and nobody had anything bad to say about them, So we decided to check them out. We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The shop was bright and CLEAN. Steve was working (and two more were waiting) but took some time to look at our designs and set up two appts for the next day. I should point out that this was my girlfriends first tattoo and she was getting it to celebrate her birhday. So it had to be good! Steve took the time to explain placement, color, etc... He is a great conversationalist and a funny guy. Much more importnatly though, he is a super artist! After he started on my g/f's tat Joe cool (his real name) came in and asked me what I was waiting for. After telling him what I wanted he offered to do it so we wouldn't have to spend the whole day in the shop. He is a real cahrector as well as a great artist. To some up our experiences at VooDoo: we were treated very professionally in a super clean environment by two super talented artists. We walked out with two great tattoos that pop and will go back on our next trip to Sin City. Sure you can pay more for the same quality work on the strip but if you are looking for good quality work at very fair prices (notice I did not say cheap because: a cheap tattoo is never good and a good tattoo is never cheap) then stop in at Voodoo and ask for Steve or Joe and tell them Scott and Lori from Indiana sent you. You will be GLAD you did!

i was on vacation in las vegas and wanted a tattoo after being very disapointed with all the shops on the strip and in the hotels i found voodoo tattoo.. steve was very helpfull very nice and did a great job on our tattoos.. we are going to come back to vegas again just to get tattooed... voodoo tattoo rocks !!!

I had a tattoo done at another tattoo shop last year and I wasn't very happy with it so I was skeptical about getting another one, but I found a design that I really wanted so I started asking around for the best tattoo shop in Vegas "AND I FOUND IT" I asked many many people and I kept hearing VOODOO TATTOO so I did a little research and found this web site and all of the ratings sounded great so I decided to go in the shop and see for myself. The shop looked very nice and clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful.Joe said that the design that I had was great but it needed a little tweaking so Joe worked his magic and in about 10 min. it was ready to be tattooed, he did the tattoo in about an hour and it didn't hurt half as bad as the first tattoo that I got a year ago and since it didn't hurt I asked Joe if he could fix the first tattoo that I had. Both of them turned out great. I wish that I had did my research the first time I got tattoo but it all worked out in the long run. If your looking to get tattooed look no futher, this is the place.

I went into the shop after looking on this web site, and IM grad that I did so cause it was a great experience. This was my first and second tattoo. "IT didn't hurt as much as I was told so I got another one".and I cant wait to come to Vegas to get another one or two. anyway Joe did my tattoo and he was great, we talked most of the time while i was getting the tattoo and that helped a lot, he is great, i would recommend this shop to all looking to get a new tattoo.

I was refereed to voodoo tattoo by a few friends at work to voodoo tattoo. This was my first tattoo so I wanted it to be special and look great. Let me tell you my tattoo looks awesome. When I went in there I had an idea of what i wanted and told them and Joe, my artist went to work and created just what I had envisioned and more. I will defiantly be back for more. I recommend this shop to all the people that have tattoos now and to all the ones that don't.

me and a few friends were visiting Las Vegas for our first time"I live here now" and wanted to have something to remember Las Vegas, besides a hangover and no cash. So we decided to get a tattoo but had no idea where to go. So we decided to ask around. First we asked a bartender at one of the big casinos and she told us Voodoo tattoo. Then we asked our cabbie and he gave us a couple of shops with voodoo being one of them so we said "lets do this "and headed down to the shop... it was a little hard to find but well worth it. I had no idea what I wanted besides a tattoo but with a little help from the guys I was on my way to getting my first tattoo. and I love it. I moved down here in aug. and I cant wait to get some extra money together to get my next one. I recommend this shop to everyone that asks me about my tattoo. "and everyone asks me, cause it looks so great" so if your looking for a tattoo shop that's friendly and that has true artist look no further and stop in at voodoo tattoo.....

i gotta say, the crew at voodoo is shiznu! seriously a bunch of talented guys and fantastic artists. they've got some of the coolest designs around, and if you don't see what you want, they can create a custom piece. what's dope is the amount of research and time they put into a piece. the place is clean and they explain everything. if you're looking to get ink done in vegas, do yourself a favor and see the guys at voodoo tattoo.

as a side note, joe cool has got to be the sexiest tattoo artist i've ever seen...i'd let him stick me anytime!

Unlike most others giving reviews, I am a local resident... I have seen tattoo artists and shops come and go in this town for years.. Joe Cool has been around for a long time..He has done all of my work for over 12 years now.. I new it was just a matter of time before he opened his own place...Very talented artist..I have met all of the guys that work at Voodoo and am very impressed with the work coming out of thier shop..The tattoos that I have are not the every day run of the mill look ...They take alot of planning and research..Joe has the patience that it takes to do my work and it always comes out looking better than I originally envisioned..I wouldn't go anywhere else and recommend them highly....

A couple girlfriends and I went to Voodoo Tattoo knowing we wanted a new tattoo, we just didn't know what we wanted. The guys at the shop were very friendly and patient while trying to help us decide what we wanted. Once we gave them some ideas they drew something up for us. While we waited, us girls pretended like we knew how to play pool to pass time. What a blast! Joe did my tattoo and all I can say is WOW! He's amazing in every way possible! I absolutely love it and can't wait to go back for more. I know my girls loved theirs from Steve and Cleen too! If you don't want to settle for anything but the best go to VOODOO TATTOO!!!!!

VooDoo tattoo is the best shop in town hands down. My wife and I both got work done by Steve at voodoo and were more than happy with the tats we got, these are some of the coolest guys down there. So, if you a tourist, or a local, go down and see for yourself!! great bunch of guys and some darn good tattooos!!!!

I flew in from Alaska lookin to get a tattoo. I went to the tattoo shop in the Palms and they were so over priced, they're noses were stuck way up in the air, and to mention I wasn't to impressed with their work. There was no way I was getting tattooed by them. I left the Palms and asked the cab driver where the best place to get tattooed was at. He took me literally around the corner to Voodoo Tattoo. As soon as I walked in I was greeted like I was one of the guys. I picked a design off the wall and they told me they could do it but they could draw something way better. They drew it up then and there and it was way beyond my expectations, it blew my mind. It only got better from there. They were half the price from the shop in the Palms. I got the tattoo and I couldn't have been happier. I look at it everyday, ten times a day and all my friends are jealous. If you want to get tattooed in Vegas then go to Voodoo Tattoo. They have good prices, a great atmosphere, and to mention amazing tattoos.

My girlfriends and I were on an all girl trip and got sent to Voodoo by one of Joe's regulars. And I'll tell you what, the service was excellent, the work EVEN BETTER and the Prices ideal! I felt totally comfortable in the shop. Joe was my artist and he did exactly what I wanted for a great price and I love it! My next trip to Vegas I will be returning. And 3 of the 4 of us have been back for more work and a couple of my other friends on their trips down. CHECK THEM OUT! Totally Worth It!

I like some of the others came to Vegas knowing that I was going to get a tattoo somewhere.. somehow haha.. We went to the Palms to see Hart and Hunington and a guy walked out and told us they wanted to charge him 700 dollars for 7 letters down his arm and we knew we were leaving .. we asked the guy at the desk where he would get a tattoo.. He gave us a name of some place dont even remember what it was.. We went out to get a Cab and the guy told us of a tattoo place within walking distance.. Mind you it was really flipping hot outside (like usual in Vegas) ... We had fun walking over there though..We ended up in the shop asking for Joe (the owner) and he wasn't there.. but another guy was tattooing and two of the girls ended up getting a tattoo from him.. Joe walked in and said who else needs a tattoo.. lol By the time we left Vegas we were all four tattooed and had tshirts from Voodoo.. We went back again in April and I came out with another tattoo and another tshirt lol.. Joe rawks.. (and for you ladies he is good eye candy) :) He has been tattooing for 13 or 14 years (cant remember how long he said lol I was distracted) Tattoo was quick and reasonably priced .. I have now been voodoo'd twice hehe... Fun stuff... If I planned on any more tattoos thats where I would get them.. Highyl recommended

Voodoo Tattoo is a very friendly place. The artists put everyone at ease, (Even the first timers). They have a great location around the corner from the Palms and the prices are very reasonable. My Artist, Joe Cool, listens to what I want and is a great artist. Some of my artwork is almost four years old and people still ask if I just got it done. If you want color that's going to last, go see Joe Cool at Voodoo Tattoo.

The shop was super clean!!!! They were very friendly!!!! I went into four other tattoo shops in Vegas witch my cabbie took me to, and the quality was terrible. For the money i spent driving around looking for quality tattoos I wish I would have picked this one first. My tattoo was perfect. I didn't feel like a tourist. I would recommend this shop to anyone, I'm so surprised they haven't had any other comments about there excellence.
P.s. They let me play Wii while I waited!!!!
