Massage Envy is the best EVER!!! I have been having chronic lower back pain for the past 3 years. Pain meds did not help, ice and heat only give a temporary solution. The front desk staff gave me a therapist that was definitely a right fit for me. My therapist was very knowledgeable about my back problems, and was able to show me stretches and exercises that I could do when I was not able to come into a massage. The best part about the company as a whole is their affordable pricing. Because of the nature of my back problems, I have to be seen at least twice a month! They offer excellent prices, an amazing atmosphere, and a great staff. They are caring, and you can tell they are genuine about helping people get better.

I recently had a massage at Massage Envy South Park location and I had the best experience!! From the moment I made the appointment, they had asked me what were my trouble areas. When I walked into the clinic, their front desk is so welcoming and made me felt so appreciated. The massage was so great, I immediately came out of my massage and they had mentioned the Wellness Program and I was so relieved that I had found a place that is affordable and the quality of the massage is perfect for me. I would highly recommend everyone to go to South Park clinic, you truly won't be disappointed!

I recently visited Massage Envy at South Park and had a wonderful experience. I was greeted by 3 very friendly receptionists and was taken into a "relaxation room" to fill out my paperwork. My actual massage was the best I've ever had. I always have trouble finding someone who is able to go deep enough, but my therapist was outstanding. Overall, I was impressed with the whole experience from start to finish. I definitely will recommend this Massage Envy to all my friends!!

While I was pregnant, my friend purchased a massage for me - and checked that it was with someone who had certification in pregnancy/pre-natal massage. I got there - it was very nice and clean - and had my massage. She had me on my back, which I thought was unusual and then massaged my feet (again, I had heard this was a "no-no" with pregnancy). While she was wraping up I asked her about her certification, turns out she was not certified in pre-natal but "had one class in it". I was floored and worried for days that I would go into early labor (I didn't). My regular certified massage therapsit was floored when I told her what happended.

Fabulous from start to finish

I made an appointment the same day that I called which was welcome relief as I had been traveling for 4 days straight and could hardly stand up straight! I had a great massage with Jed...I was a little leary to go to a male therapist but once he laid his hands on me I knew I was in good hands. I joined their wellness program that is a no brainer and am going to Jed every other week now. I am addicted to massage and the stretches that Jed has recommended. Massage Envy is the bomb!

i have had massages at many fine spas across the country and I recently tried Massage Envy. What a pleasant surprise!!! Everything was top notch and it was truly one of the best massages I have ever received at a fraction of the price. I would highly recommend Massage Envy to anyone -- whether it's for therapeutic reasons or simply to relax with all of today's pressures.

Disappointing!

From beginning to end, my experience here was a huge disappoinment. I was not greeting promptly and the staff was less then friendly. I have been to many Spa's, so I know exactly what to expect. My massage therapist was a nice lady, but she fumbled with the lotion and headrest the whole time. The massage part was boring and forgetable - not once did I relax and enjoy it. To top the whole thing off - the tip charts that are scattered all over the place are so tacky. Its not a law to tip, its a choice. And the chart says 40% is customary. Well I tipped 30% and truly felt like leaving nothing, but I felt bad for the therapist working on commission. I also need to mention I paid for an hour and it only lasted 49 minutes. Sorry to be so negative, but I will ask around for a better place. Do not waste your money here. Beware of the initial appointment phone call - they have a terrible policy with credit cards - I should have known then not to go here.

While visiting the Charlotte area I was lucky enough to receive a massage from Maureen Van Kirk at Massage Envy. I have had open heart surgery and suffer with daily morning headaches upon waking. Maureen was able to stop my headaches for six weeks with just one massage. She explained how this was due to tension in my trap area and around my neck. She is extremely talented and knowledgeable in her field and has a genuine heart for healing. Anyone lucky enough to have Maureen work on them has found themselves a true gem.

If you are looking for good value (only $39 per hour!) and fantastic massages, I recommend my favorite therapist at the Woodlawn Rd. Massage Envy in Charlotte--Maureen Van Kirk. I have been going to her for about a year and she always provides extraordinary massages and can accomodate anyone's personal preference (swedish, deep tissue, etc.). I happen to have chronic back pain and she somehow miraculously makes the pain go away after each session!! The best part is that she is CONSISTENT--every time I go for a visit she does a wonderful job. Maureen is also very pleasant and extremely accomodating. I recommend giving her a try--but make sure you call a few days in advance bc she gets booked up quickly--and her massages are worth the wait. Don't take your chances with someone you don't know will do as good a job as she does!!!
