Ridgewood Stables is the nicest place I've come across. They offer boarding, lessons, sales of horses, and there is also a tack shop on-site. Ridgewood has 48-50 stalls, plus an upper barn. It has an indoor arena, a heated lounge, two tack rooms, 8 wash-racks, and pastures. The outdoor arenas consist of a pony ring(just a regular dirt ring), a jumping ring(always in the summer has a course of jumps set up), and a grass ring. There is also a trail and other places to ride. Board includes indoor/outdoor turnout(you specify) whenever you'd like, blanketing when it gets cold, and someone will ride your horse for you if you'd like. There are also a few cross-country fences. The lesson program is wonderful. Beginners learn how to brush and tack up their horse or pony and then they will be lead around until the trainer and client feel they're ready. All of the school horses are wonderful and are taken good care of.
