loved Gym Kids

by Anonymous

My son loved going to Gym Kids. Even though it was just once per week, he asked nearly every day if this was the day we were going there. Parking can be crowded some days. The equipment gets rearranged into different configurations to make it more interesting for the kids, and the parents are given some tips to help kids learn skills safely without being overprotective.

PROS: great for climbers
CONS: parking

Gymkids is great but their preschool is not

by priya v. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,266

I have taken my daughter to Gymkids and to the preshcool (Bright beginnings) a few years ago. She loved the Gymkids class. Outr teacher was Cindy H and Susan M. Both are really good with the kids. The classes are offered on a quarter system and they fill up real fast.
The preschool attached to the ACE is Bright Beginnings. Except for Susan M, all the other teachers are really bad. I have tried every one of them, believe me. Susan usually has a very full class and a very long wait list to get into her class (understandably).

PROS: Gymkids is great
CONS: Bright Beginnings was not a good experience for us.

GymKids is great

by Heather C. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 758

ACE offers many classes, but their toddler/preschooler classes are great. GymKids is a gymboree rival and offers similar activities at a fraction of the cost. The classes often fill up, so you have to register early. The equipment is a little older than the gymboree equipment, but it's still very functional and it is upgraded before it becomes a safetly hazard. The teachers have all been there forever, and I can definitely recommend teacher Cindy (Henry). She has a great memory and is very sweet with the kids.
