Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery

I am in a family full of Doctors, Surgeons, hospital administrators, and a mother-in-law who is an Esthetician. I am knowledgeable about Plastic Surgery and Esthetician procedures. I have researched Doctors and their practices over and beyond the normal person, and I have the income to go anywhere in the country to have procedures performed. Needless to say, this review is probably the most beneficial review you could possibly read. The BEST OF THE BEST is right here in Indiana at WINSLOW FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY. After turning 33 years old, and having two children, I decided it was time to have a 'touch up'. I needed the BEST surgeon and staff to perform the following; Rhinoplasty (nose job), Lipodissolve (a non-surgical procedure to remove unwanted fat cells in a localized area), Liposuction under my chin, Botox, monthly facial treatments, and top of the line skin care products. After many consultations and hours of research, I elected Dr. Winslow and staff to take care of all my needs. I feel like I have a new life! Not only am I proud to look in the mirror every morning, I exude confidence again. I am proud to put on a swimsuit. I am proud to have my photo taken. I have received numerous compliments from family, friends and strangers. Price wise, 10! Quality of work, 10! Professionalism, 10! Flexibility and friendliness of staff, 10! LOVE Dr. Winslow's product line. Dr. Winslow scored the HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY on her board certification exam. She worked for the White House. What's good enough for the President of the United States, is good enough for me. BRILLIANT surgeon, nurses, esthetician and staff! On a side note: Shannon is my Esthetician and Triste and Terry are my nurses. The staff almost feels like 'FAMILY' to me.

I wanted to post my complements of Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery. Being a male, I was somewhat nervouse going to a plastic surgeon. I was unsure of what to expect, what questions to ask and if what I wanted was the right procedure for me. I was very pleased with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and Dr. Winslow. Thanks to the staff, I felt much more comfortable than I had expected to feel. My procedure was nothing but exceptional! It was a great experience and since then I have referred some family and friends to them.

If you want excellence and superb facial results along with caring, excellently -skilled professionals, then you should allow yourself the experience of Dr. Catherine Winslow and her staff. Dr. Winslow has superior expertise and credentials and has surrounded herself in her practice with only the best Indiana has to offer in this field. One of the nurses, Tristie, is most congenial and outstanding in her knowledge and ability to explain any procedure or answer questions. You truly feel you are the only patient she will see, because she takes the time to listen and makes sure you understand and are comfortable. It is sincere and professional care everyone needs in their life.
By far, this is one of the best practices, if not the best!

I have been going to Dr. Winslow's for a year now for monthly peels and filler treatments and have always been 100% satisfied with the results. I have gone to many esthetician's in the past and none as knowledable and good as Ashley, my skin has never looked so good. I feel right at home from walking in the door where Jen greets you and Tristy is very skilled and always making me feel at ease and has me laughing during treatments. Dr. Winslow spends so much time with me and is never in a hurry like most plastic surgeons and is always there to answer any questions I have. If you are nervous at all about having any type of procedure this is the place for you, with excellent doctor and great staff!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Dr. Winslow and her staff are very knowledgable and accommodating. I've always felt very comfortable and informed in her office and never pressured into any procedure or treatment. I like the fact that they have such a wide variety of services, including all of the latest and greatest procedures. I have recommended Dr. Winslow to all of my friends and we have all been extremely satisfied. This place is truly a diamond in the rough!!!

I have been to several plastic surgeons in the area over the years for basic skincare and minor surgeries. Dr. Winslow's staff was not friendly, helpful, or knowledgeable. With so many good options in the area, I will never again use her services. There was a mistake made with my original appointment by her staff. Her staff was rude and took no responsibility for the mistake. When I tried to talk to Dr. Winslow after a surgical procedure, the staff tried to prevent me from talking to her. Through my whole experience with this office, her staff made me feel as if I was a bother and a nuisance. They will never again be bothered by me.

You cannot go wrong by going to Dr. WInslow. I have been doing there now for about 3 years and have had Botox Cosmetic, Restylane and Radiesse treatments over the years with EXCELLENT results. Tristy is a true professional as well as a friend. She and Dr. WInslow listen to what results I want to achieve and then we plan out an approach both from a medical standpoint as well as a financial one to achieve my goals. Every time I walk thru the door or call the office it's like calling an old friend who cares. I have since moved from Indiana and still travel back to Dr. Winslow's office for my treatments because of the friendly environment, the knowledgeable staff and the low cost associated with the treatments that I receive.
They are the BEST!

I have been a patient of Dr. Winslow's whom performed a Chemical Peel on me over a year ago. There was some unsatisfactory results from the procedure but I have to say that Dr. Winslow went above and beyond to make sure that she corrected the issues I have had. I feel that she will not be satisfied until she knows that I am. Her and her staff are excellent friendly professional and at the same time makes you feel like you are part of the family and they show they truly care about you. I love going there even if just to stop in and say hi. Triste is the tops she knows how to handle a needle ( especially on me) and is very good at what she does. Jen is great very friendly helpful and I'm sure the back bone to keeping everything running in the office. Without a doubt Dr. Winslow and her staff know what they are doing, they do it all very well. As for the awful comments that have been said on here Dr Winslow is not arrogant at all she is the best at what she does it is not arrogance it is positive, confident, professional, superior, top of the line service!! Winslow Plastic Surgery ROCKS!!!

If your going to proclaim to be the best you should not do so at the expense of others. I personally was not at all impressed with this office and staff. Advertising will do no good unless people experience the treatments and results promised. I think the money would be better spent on qualified professional staff and personnel. Also, the news letters get very redundant as Dr. Winslow prefers to experiment with her writing techniques and motivational speech instead of providing real current information that educated readers are seeking.

I first met Dr. Winslow and staff at one of her open houses..... I felt sooo comfortable the minute I walked in the door! Remarkable staff... and love the professionalism!!!! I have had a few procedures done over the last year and a half and love the results......period......
Dr. Winslow has been right on the money with the procedures she has suggested and has done for me! Listen to this lady! ....she knows her stuff!!
I do have to say this......it's just too funny....When having a chemical peel done....I had the best time! Nuts hugh? Triste and Dr. Winslow were sooo entertaining during the procedure, that it was all I could do not to laugh. Now how often does that happen???? Love them! Recommend this place to ANYONE!.....and you CAN NOT FIND a BETTER patient coordinater than JEN!

I did research on Plastic Surgeons before selecting Dr. Winslow to have my eyelids done. I was very impressed by her experience & education. I attended an Open House and was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and Dr. Winslow and felt very "comfortable" around all of them. I had my eyelids done as well as a chin implant and chemical peel. The care that I was given was excellent and the follow-up was also very thorough. I particularly also liked the feeling I had each time I went to visit the office. Friendly, comfortable, yet professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Winslow & her staff if you are considering having surgery done.

I have know that a double chin or gobbler would be a major problem and so it came to be that I needed a plastic surgeon. There were 3 that I consulted and Dr. Winslow was by far the most impressive - her credentials and manner, office and staff - remarkable. I am from Fort Wayne and my husband took me for the procedure and I healed just as expected. What really surprised me is a question she asked "Are you happy with the result?" Definately YES. Should I require additional procedures she will be my only phone call.

Dr. Winslow is an amazing surgeon and compassionate woman. I have been a patient of hers for 2 years now. I highly recommend anyone considering surgery to meet with her. I also see an aesthetician who helps me maintain my youthful skin. I truly believe all the staff members have your best interest in mind. I love her and the staff!

Dr. Winslow is an amazing artist! She and her staff certainly come with my strongest recommendation. If you are anticipating any cosmetic surgical procedure you will not be disappointed by choosing Dr. Winslow as your surgeon. Her work is beautiful, her charges reasonable, her follow-up care excellent, and you can not help but be charmed by her and her staff. What more could you ask for?

In response to the review by "alliebug". I had my consult on the day this review was written, I believe I am the woman she was "embarrassed for". Let me clarify. I had my consult in the back office, and what was overheard was me joking with the staff at the front desk. My mistake. I am not shy about the fact that I am having a chemical peel and partial dermabrasion, but I did not intend to make anyone uncomfortable or squeamish with my comments. Also, I've never seen any uncleanliness, and the staff has always been very personable to me. Please read Dr. Winslow's Biography, it's impressive.

Dr. Winslow is not only a talented surgeon, but also a very down-to -earth person. One only needs to review her credentials to understand her level of compentancy. Though I am still in the healing process, I am quite pleased with the results.

I had my initial appt with Dr. Winslow and she was straight forward and told me exactly what I needed and what to expect. She was super nice and very honest on the healing time and what to expect during post op. I have talked to friends who had the same procedure and were not told what to expect post op and were amazed at how up front and honest Dr. Winslow was with what I was to expect. She is straight forward and completely honest. Sometimes that scared me, but I would rather have that then someone who sugar coats it. My procedure went extremely well and I love the results and I am only 4 weeks post op. Everyone on staff is extremely friendly and wonderful to work with.

I've dealt with this practice several times. The people who said Dr. Winslow is arrogant, yes, I'd agree with that, and I've experienced all the warmth and compassion of Hitler from her. Had several bad experiences. It's one thing when you have a bad experience, but when it becomes a series of them, something is wrong. Would not recommend. And also, the reviewer who mentioned a patient's procedure details being broadcast for any in the waiting area to hear is right on. I've seen the same thing there and was taken aback by it too. C'mon people, just because you're exposed to these procedures daily and to patients who maybe don't mind their personal affairs being shared like that, not everyone feels that way. Have a little discretion and class, for god's sake. If you were seeing a doc for hemorrhoids, would you want that fact announced to everyone in the waiting area just because it's a condition the doc commonly treats? I've been left with such a bad taste in my mouth, I think I'd rate it at zero stars but don't think that's an option, so have to give it one.

Pros: I think I'd travel out of state to avoid this place,and Indiana being a hell state when it comes to patient's rights, that could prove to be a positive.

Triste is the best, they make a great pair in my book. I have sent many friends to them. To be it is like being with old friends, I am never uncomfortable around them. I have been a paient of Dr. Winslows for a year and a half. I have had various procedures done, including a brow, face and neck lift. I am throughly pleased and happy with the results. I noticed right from the first, that the office staff was very friendly caring and professional. Dr. Winslow is amazing, a truly beautiful woman, inside and out. As for that nonsense about her and the staff being greedy, that is absouloutly NOT true. They will tell you right from the start if a treatment or procedure is not for you and why. Dr. Winslow is very candid about the downtime after a surgery or procedure, as she should be. She wants her patients to know what to expect and the importance of following the post-op care at home. I have spoken to other women who have had the same procedures done that I did, but with other doctors, and I was surprised with the amounts of money they had spent and the results were not as good as mine. I would recommend Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery to anyone and I have to many people. Keep up the great work ladies.

After attending my 1st open house in November 2006, I made an appointment to talk to Dr. Winslow about blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). I was impressed by everything about Dr. Winslow, from her knowledge to her caring mannerism. I also liked the fact that she is a woman- "with a woman's touch" - as in her ad. She gave addtional options, such as a forehead lift, but I did not want anything but a bleph, and she did not push it. After surgery, she called to make sure everything was OK. She is everything you would want in a surgeon. One of my men friends checked into her for a bleph, decided to go to a man. He was not happy with his result-he should've gone to Dr. Winslow! The staff is great- I especially enjoy Triste. Needles aren't bad at all when she is the injector!

This "babe with a blade" is what the medical profession has been sorely lacking for decades. A doctor that actually has brains, skill and personality. Her technical skills are amazing - I had a brow lift, face lift, chmical peel and chin implant. Following her advise on post -care, I can testify that my scars are barely visible and the results are OUTSTANDING! And I'm only six weeks post op!!! She has a very supportive and caring office staff that makes each visit seem like a homecoming. Have never been to a physician's office where everyone is smiling, upbeat and makes you feel good about yourself for just being you!

I went to Winslow Plastic Surgery after attending an "open house". I liked the friendliness of the staff and professionalism of Dr. Winslow. My procedure turned out great; even better than I expected. I was so pleased afterwards that my son went in for a consultation and had a corrective procedure. Everything went well and he is a happy kid.
Only suggestion for staff would be not to try and sell products while you are having a procedure done; wait until afterwards.

Dr. Winslow performed eyelid surgery and a mid-face lift on me, and the result was more than I had hoped for. I looked like myself, except younger. I have since used many other aesthetic services and have been pleased with most of them. It takes time to find the right procedures for each person, and Dr. Winslow and her staff take the time to find the right treatment.

I have been receiving aesthetic treatments at Dr. Winslow's for the past one and a half years. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and truly caring. I also appreciate that they hold a fund raiser for breast cancer each year (a really fun event!) I love to support a business that cares about the community.

It has been my experience that clients are treated much more like family instead of a source of revenue. I have always been made to feel appreciated and warmly welcome.
I look forward to my facial appointments at Dr. Winslow's office because it is a wonderful, relaxing, pampering hour that leaves me feeling rejuvenated and beautiful thanks to the terrific people that work there!

Unsatisfactory/no results. V-beam for spider vein removal. After initial appointment produced NO result at all, they retried the procedure 2 additional times. Still no result and the office manager ungraciously tells me results are not guaranteed although technician said it might take more than one visit to get total result. I learned (visit #2) when talking to original technician it does not work well on darker skin (i.e. medium or above) and that they do not have a lot of experience with this procedure except on very fair skinned patients. I tried to talk to Dr. Winslow directly but she had her ferocious office manager call me. They refuse any refund saying I signed papers saying desired results are not guaranteed, HOW ABOUT NO RESULTS!

I could not believe I had been in the same office as the person that left that nasty review. I first went to the office being dragged along to an open house, because I would NEVER do botox. I was so overwhelmed by the friendly atmosphere of every member of the staff including the doctor. Before I knew who she was, she said Hi to me in the hall and asked if I was having a good time. How can that be the same person? I let my friend talk me into botox, but I was a little overwhelmed at the open house, so I made an appointment with Terri for later. I cannot tell you how comforting Terri was. She answered every question, and I had a ton. I had been on the internet researching I was scared to death. She was calm and quiet with a true expertise. I will never let anyone else touch my face but this office. I think anyone with questions should go to an open house and get a real feeling for this office. They are great girls!

When I came across the scathing commentary on a genuine and caring woman who is a truly intelligent and exceptional surgeon, I was simply appalled. Over the last 3 years Dr. Catherine Winslow has given me back the youth that a brutal marriage and twice as brutal divorce stole from me. Throughout the many procedures she was always totally professional, informative, and completely interested in my overall well-being at all times. Many of my own friends and family have become her successful patients and all feel as appreciative and satisfied as do I, and none I've spoken with understand this person's unsavory and negative remarks whatsoever. So, let me challenge any of you who are considering that these statements have any validity whatsoever to attend one of the open houses at Dr. Winslow's office to experience for yourself the real truth about the office itself, the awesome staff, and to especially meet and get to know the real Dr. Catherine Winslow. Aside from the informative and fun side to these lively get togethers, you'll see many who have her artistic signature beautifully redisigning faces that once were wrinkled and aging, or even sadly damaged in some way. Youl'll be able to talk face to face and ask any questions as every one there easily shares their monumental success stories. You''ll see for yourself the dedicated following Dr. Winslow has, and you'll wonder what this sad, disgruntled, nondescript, & (for obvious reasons) anonymous person could have based the tacky and totally untrue comments on. I work in the beauty industry and I know a good place from a bad one. This has got to be truly the dirtiest, grossest, and most unprofessional place I have EVER seen. First of all, upon my arrival, I was waiting in the waiting room reading a magazine, and one of the staff members was explaining to a patient about how bruised up her face will be after some surgery. Then she went on talking about the ointment she was to keep on her face as it was going to look like a raw piece of skin. I WAS MORTIFIED AND EMBARESSED for that women. That is what rooms are for in the back. I wanted to leave so bad but instead I waited. Only to look around in the waiting room, to notice dead flys and bees on the floors in the corner. Needless to say, the girl that did my facial, never spoke to me and tried to sell me every product she carried. I will NEVER GO BACK AND NEVER REFER THIS NASTY PLACE!!!!!!

Due to graduate school induced stress, I ended up pulling out my eye brow hairs. My eye brows refused to grow back and I hated drawing them on with a brow pencil. I had permanent make-up applied and they could not look more natural. I love them and would return to Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery in a heart beat if I ever needed assistance again!!!!!

I was so impressed with this practice that I decided to write them a review on the same site I originally found them...city search. I actually work at a physician's office in Carmel, IN and was recommended to go see this office by a colleague who is a physician. I had my procedure one month ago and I could never have expected to be so happy and look so great! I swear I look 20 years younger but not in a Joan Rivers way! I would recommend Dr. Winslow to my closest family member and her staff, (especially Jenn at the front desk) is incredible. I called no less than 5 times the week after my surgery and they were so great at putting my mind at ease and taking care of my every need. You have to visit their office if you are considering anything for the face. (By the way, the poor review before mine is very rude I believe. I have to deal with insurance companies all day at my job and I know that it is common not to do appeals or second submissions as they take too much staff work time. Unfair and untrue description of the office.)

I went to Winslow, and the front desk very polite, until I met the DR. Winslow.She talked to fast, was arrogant, and didn't offer any discount, if you referred a patient for further surgery.

I made an appointment for surgery, and they screwed up the dates.
I was late to first appointment, because the secretary gave incorrect directions.

When I went in for pre-op appointment, they had me attempt to get a credit line, but I was unable at the time.
I explained that I would use a different source of credit to pay.

They told me they weren't interested, would NOT do the procedure, and told me I had to start over my entire claim to insurance company. (if I still wanted the procedure)

This had already taken me 6 months to get approved. They were unwilling to contact my insurance company on my behalf, and told me they were NOT willing to take me as a patient any longer, unless I would pay OUT OF POCKET, for new initial consult! This amount was over $250.00!!!

When I asked why they couldn't use the original, they were insistant, rude, and refused to be cooperative.

I'm glad this happened, because if this was the situation, with simple billing, claims, and their arrogance what would have been the out come of a surgery.

Further, they wrote a report, that I had been late, wasted the DR.'S time. HUH?

DON'T USE THIS PRACTICE!!!!

They won't last long with this attitude.

PLUS- when a practice has to use television advertisement, that is usually a 'red flag.'

I have never had any type of facial surgery or really even a facial before and I decided to do some Botox and some filler in my mouth area. When I got to Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery for my consultation, I felt so comfortable in thier office and with everyone on their staff. Between explaining all my options, detailing each procedure and actually peeling and injecting me, both Dr. Winslow and the nurse spent over an hour caring for just me! And they were so fun and knowledgable! I really felt like I was just hanging with a couple of my girlfriends. They also did a TCA (no idea what that stands for) peel around my eyes. (To be honest, I looked like quite a mess for about 4 days with the Vaseline covering my lower eyes, but after that time, I was so amazed at how young and tight my skin looked! In total, I did a filler in my lips and smile lines, Botox on pretty much my entire upper face, and a peel around my eyes. I didn't think I looked too bad for my age to start with, but I feel like I look 10 years younger with no surgery. I love all these ladies and would recommend them to my very best friends. Go see Dr. Winslow!

I was going through a really rough time and wanted a new start. Dr. Winslow and her staff took the time to listen to me and more importantly hear me. I got not only amazing results, now I am fighting off the younger men, but a new family. Every time I walk in they know me by name and I truly feel they are happy to see me. They even know my granddaughter's name. I would trust anyone I love to the expertise of Dr. Winslow and her staff.

I'm unsure where the negative reviewers went for service but it simply can't be Dr. Winslow's office. Having worked in the medical field for over 12 years, I am very familiar with physicians and their treatment of patients and Dr. Winslow stands out above all the rest as one of the best and most caring physicians in the city. One reviewer stated arrogance?! It made me laugh out loud! Dr. Winslow is far from arrogant and if she didn't introduce herself, you would mistake her for a girlfriend who just happened to be in the office as the same time as you. From my very first appointment, she took her time with me to relieve my anxieties and gently administer my treatment. My appointment was only scheduled for 1/2 hour yet I was there for over an hour and a half because she took the time to make me feel comfortable. The staff is exceptional. Accomodating, caring and they go out of their way to make you feel as if you are a part of the family. Want to really get to know Dr. Winslow and the staff? Go to one of their open houses that they have every month! Not only will you have a great time but you will see the truth of this practice which is an exceptional caring physician with an exceptional caring to staff to make you feel and look great!
