Julie's Family Pizza

This place is awesome!! Not only do they have a big and ever changing salad bar, the pizza is Superior! Talk about fast lunch this is it! You get your salad and before you have finished there is piping hot pizza to enjoy. The price is right for all you can eat. If you want something other than pizza, their lunch specials are priced right and plentiful. Friendly and cozy atmosphere. Just this past March they were awarded best pizza in Indiana by Pizza Expo, for the SEAFOOD SPECTACULAR pizza. If you like shrimp cocktail, this pizza is a must try. If the owner has the time, he can even tell you the true story about how his Great grandmother and grandfather ( who was 9 at the time) survived the sinking of the Titanic. Julie's Pizza has been in business for 15 years and continues to impress.

Typical pizza joint fare, including burgers, sandwiches and a small salad bar. The all-you-can-eat pizza and salad for lunch is a very good deal. Maddeningly, you may have to chase the waitress down just to get your check. The first time it happened, I sat there for half an hour just to see what would happen.... absolutely NOTHING. My god, what else could she be doing when there's nobody else in the restaurant?!? This has happened to me TWICE now which proves it was not a mistake, but a serious staffing issue. I'm willing to bet that "Bonnie B.", provider of the "five star" review for this restaurant, is either (a) the waitress who doesn't have a clue about customer service, or (2) the owner's daughter/niece/girlfriend/wife/alter-ego SHILL. I'll will make it a point to go back to this restaurant soon to see if they have changed their ways, and adjust my review accordingly. In the meantime, there are plenty of other places I can go for good pizza AND service.
