Century was always the nemesis of Orland Junior High. The teams were always very good, and I'm told by many that their accademics were very good as well. While both schools are under the same school district (135), the differences are tremendous. Century is a very modern building, and was always referred to as the "rich" school. The facilities are all under 7 years old, and provide for what I'm sure is a very positive learning atmosphere. I know many teachers at this building, and they are all very kind, genuinely motivated teachers.
