lmao I have to say that aimiee's review was a hoot. I agree. I was a boonsboro person for 34 years and refused to join in the games. I still have some friends there but believe me from having a wide variety of friends all over Lynchburg, they just are kidding themselves.
As far as Merriweathers goes, if you can ignore being ignored then it is very good overpriced food. : )

Sean has taken Meriwether's back to the top where it belongs!!! You won't believe you are in Lynchburg, VA. Great food and wine list. Keep up the good work!!

The food here is excellent, the service is excellent, it is immaculate, the temperature is perfect. But you are dealing with the Boonsboro crowd which can be a little pretentious and snobbish. If you can deal with them (they will ignore you anyway) then eat here! The food is too good to pass up!
PROS: Good food
CONS: Pretentious crowd
