Like its slowly materializing neighborhood, this South Loop spot has a few identities. A handsome wooden bar complements adjacent booths, separated by swaths of sail canvas. Wood four-tops and sturdy chairs fill the rest of the room, and a back wall features colorful nautical flags. The bar stocks the standard, with an augmented rum and tequila selection, many of which star in specialty cocktails like the Almost Stormy--light rum and ginger ale on the rocks.

The incredible gourmet food selections coupled with a great tap makes this a must if you live in and around the south loop area. Also, great atmoshphere once football season starts.

Great Food, layed (they won't let me spell it right) back atmosphere

This is a great addition to the south loop neighborhood. Food is good, drinks are good and atmosphere is nice. I like the sailing theme. It is never crowded which is actually one of the things that I like about it. I am sure that will change. The only downside to this place is the oddity that they do not take American Express. As a result, I do not go there as often as I normally would as I put everything on my amex!

Pros: atmosphere, not crowded, clean and realtively smoke free

Cons: no Amex?
