We came to town and had lunch at The Buzz Cafe 340 Florida Street downtown. Not only was the coffee incredible, the grilled Italian Panini was awesome. We are from Portland Oregon so we were very pleased to find Oregon Coffee Roasters being served in Baton Rouge. We spoke to the owner and he is from Seattle. He had coffee with us and directed us around town. Neat place "two thumbs up."Sarah and Micheal NevonePortland OR.

A coffee shop that also serves, breakfast, and lunch; Monday through Friday.
They serve a variety of hot grilled paninis, quesadillas, salads, wraps, deli style sandwiches, soups, and the dessert of the day.
Every item I have tried has been tasty. My favorite for lunch is the pollo pesto panini, grilled chicken, basil pesto sauce, provolone cheese, and Roma tomatoes. For breakfast I enjoy the breakfast wrap. The wrap consists of egg, bacon or sausage, pico do gallo and cheese wrapped in a jalapeno cheese tortilla. As I do not eat bacon or sausage, I ask for no meat and extra egg. Not a problem for them. They do not even blink an eye.
PROS: Convenient for downtown meals. Good food.
CONS: Pricy.
