Conveniently located just a two minute walk from the center of the boardwalk and the main beach, yet quietly away from all the crowds found there. While everyday life may not be "a walk in the park" here it's always "a day at the beach."
I booked 4 nights for a large room w/2 queen beds for my husband & myself. Upon arrival, no queen rooms avail - only double beds. ok we accepted this(for same cost!) went into room after paying and something from out of the oldies! very sparsley furnished with older furniture. Little open closet - hanging pole for clothes - but no hangers! had to ask at office and the girl handed me 2! Only after practically begging did I get 6. Main light had a 40 watt bulb only. 2 lamps on wall-one didn't work at all. Went into bathroom - small corner shower and a toilet - no sink. toilet was yellow w/white seat and had a huge mirror hanging behind it. Weird! had to leave bathroom and go into main room around corner to a small area with a sink to wash hands. Outlet near sink did not work. Loose tiles on bathroom floor. Only given 2 bath towels - 2 hand towels-had to ask for facecloths each day. first day we got there, 2 small bars of soap-1 on sink - 1 in shower. Never replaced. Had to ask for soap each time! 1/2 roll of toilet paper on roll - no extra - had to go to office to get that too. They never replaced anything when cleaning the rooms each day! No kleenix tissue anywhere. no nothing! we had to go to store to buy stuff you normally find in a motel room.
When we checked in, they gave us a remote for the tv - they lock them in the office - no backs on any of them - they have the backs taped with electrical tape. They only worked 1/3 of the time. I must have brought ours back at least 4-5 times only to have them take old batteries out of remotes sitting in office. Luckily we did not go there to watch much tv. Sound on tv was real low - they say they can do nothing about that. they have 62 rooms yet only 49 parking spaces which the employees take up quite a few of them. they tell the customers to go park 2 blocks down in the overflow lot. my question is why aren't the employees parking there instead of taking spaces from paying guests. Office lady (mgr?) - older woman-very very rude. on the 2nd night there, i said something to her about the facilities and she said"you are welcome to go stay somewhere else". Every time we hated to have to go ask for anything due to her rudeness. She hated to part with the hangers, never mind extra soap, etc. Well the only thing i can say good is that in spite of everything , the place is kept rather clean. The pool area was clean also. I did notice also that most of the place is in desperate need of updates. very very old and tired rooms.
I will never make the mistake of staying there again. Not at $150 per night when you need to ask for everything! very poor service and rude personnel.

Last minute trip and this hotel had openings for the family. It was clean and the room attendants were up and moving to clean rooms by 7. If they saw you leave they were in the room cleaning right away. Just a walk to the beach.

I enjoyed staying there Feb 24th to March 6 2006.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds, all the comforts of home away from home.
They had a convenience store on premise. GOOD!
They had an ATM in the office for use. GOOD
They accepted Master Card, Visa and Discover card to pay for my stay.
They are 2 blocks from the Casino Ballroom -- where you can get your musical fix on the seacoast.
I would recommend this motel to all my friends looking to vacation in the Hampton area.
PROS: Competent Staff, friendly, courteous and helpful
CONS: Not enought time to enjoy the other activities of Hampton Beach.

I would not stay here again if you paid me. The sheets had stains and the rooms smelled awful. I complained and got no satisfaction. It is falling apart and needs a major overhaul. It is simply a dump.
