Cutting Garden

I have the same reaction - awe - each time I approach the Cutting Garden. In fact, the first time I drove by the flagship location in River Oaks, I almost caused a car accident whiplashing my neck to stare. The topiary outside is so stunning, it really stands out, and that's saying something in that part of River Oaks, which is filled with chi-chi black and white buildings and electric-lit trees. Inside, there are absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements, many of them avant-garde and made with rare flowers from overseas. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy from the Cutting Garden, even on a good week, but if you're an artist or other creative type, just a visit will inspire you (if nothing else, to save your pennies for that special day).
