Many cheeses from so many different places, vegetables that are lovely and fresh.
Their bake at home croissants are sold in a 6 pack and a 12 pack and are incredible!
Fresh milk, butter.
They recently remodeled and it looks nice and the cashier line is better flowing.

The Milk Pail is the only place I've found that sells fruit-flavored yoghurt in 32 oz. containers. Their cheese selection is always wonderful, and they have a refrigerated case near the checkout area for cheese specials--always worth a look. As stated above, their produce is quite fresh and is usually less expensive than Safeway's. Try to go at mid-morning or mid-afternoon when it isn't so crowded.

Although crowded (which tells you how good they are), this store has wonderful produce - plentiful, good quality and reasonable prices. If you get far enough inside, the cheese selection is great - its the first place I go to get unique cheeses - and at a fraction of the price one might expect. My son loves their breads - though not too many, they are fresh. My favorite is the emanadas they carry from Jose's.

The staff at the Four Seasons told us that this market was THE place for produce. apparently, people flew into the Silicon Valley to get produce here because it's the freshest. True, the produce was very fresh and in good condition, but I cannot see any truth to the fact that people fly here just for the produce. In any case, the fruits were very fresh and they also had a large crate of cherries in which people could pick their own. I was also pleased with their selection of asian veggies. The cheese selection was mediocre, herb stock was poor (I guess I was picking from the bottom of the barrel), and it was very crowded. I'd only return if I were driving in the area.. other than that... Safeway would suffice just fine.

Pros: fresh vegetables, near the freeway.

Cons: poor onion, cheese and herb selection. very crowded.

When it comes to produce and cheeses it is hard to beat The Milk Pail Market. They have a great selection, their produce is extremely high quality and their prices are probably the best in the area for a market of this type. They also carry milk, eggs and bread.
