I asked what they did with the animal once it's been trapped and they said they released it back into the wild. </p> <p>I contacted the Department of Fish and Game for the State of California and they told me it's against the law to relocate wildlife. An ordinary person with no trapping license can own a non-snaring trap, catch an animal on their property, but are forbidden to put it in their vehicle and drive it somewhere to release it back into the wild. He is very knowledgeable about the chemicals used.
