Dr. Hillary Brenner, D.P.M.

Dr. Brenner herself is lovely. What compelled me to write a review was the office staff. The woman at reception is terribly unprofessional (found her twice with her feet up on the desk, lounging around and playing on her phone), and to make matters worse she failed repeatedly to inform me that her office was not part of my network! I'm Blue Cross Blue Shield, currently on my dad's plan. I came in for an initial visit and a follow-up two weeks after that, and both times I asked if she was sure my plan was okay and both times she said yes. Two weeks later, a bill came in the mail for both visits, a total of $270 after the partial coverage my plan did provide for out-of-network things. When I went to ask the receptionist about the surprise bill, she had no idea what I was talking about and informed me I'd just have to pay up because it's too late to change anything. I hope I won't need a podiatrist anytime soon, but when I do, I will definitely not go here - which is a shame, because as I said, Dr. Brenner is lovely!

I did not know that my feet can be so happy. Since I've been going to Dr. Brenner, my feet feel great. She is very professional, clean, on time, and quick

Doctor Hillary Brenner is an exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled Podiatrist.
My foot problems were treated in a timely, concise and professional manner,
Any questions/concerns I had were immediately responded to by Doctor Brenner, in a caring manner.
The orthotics I ordered were carefully fitted, and immediately resulted in less strain on my feet and legs. I would have ordered the orthotics sooner, if I knew how they would relieve my pains.
The office staff was very helpful with processing my insurance claims and making appointments.
I would without any question recommend Doctor Brenner to any person needing a competent Podiatrist.
In fact, anyone I have referred to Doctor Brenner has had positive results/feelings and recommended this Podiatrist to their friends.

Dr. Brenner has performed two separate surgeries on both feet (hammer toes and ingrown toenails) which required extensive work on all ten toes. On both occasions, medication was called in prior to surgery and I was given a package that contained all the details of what I needed to do before and after the surgery. If I needed to speak with her, she was always available to take my calls. As a result of Dr. Brenner's excellent work, I am a highly satisfied patient with good looking feet. I am very lucky and happy to have found her. She also has an excellent bedside manner, is extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a podiatrist. She is a perfectionist and that is why she is the best. Don't even think about it, just book an appointment and you will be very happy too.

I have had knee and back pain for over six years and bought a variety of expensive shoes which did not help. I was refered from my chiroprator to visit with a podiatrist (where I found Dr. Brenner). She made a pair of orthotics for me and ever since my knee and back pain have been resolved. Just remember to break into them as the doctor suggests because if not you will suffer from back pain and discomfort. This happened to me with my second pair...but after I followed the rules I was fine and satisfied!!!

Podiatrist Hillary Brenner talked me into a getting another pair of orthotics since I had not had a new pair in 15 years.
I agreed with her in her office, but when leaving the office I thought to my self Don't fix something that is not broken.
Well after three adjustments and six months later every time I wear her orthotics I get back pain and violent muscle spasms.
Doctor Brenner tells me that's all she can do for me. I'm out $500 and need a new Podiatrist........fyi

dr brenner is by far the best podiatrist in manhattan.her bedside manner is second to none. she was so sweet and professional i left almost wishing i needed another operation.

I had hammer toe surgery performed by Dr. Brenner and the results were amazing. She was extremely careful and this proved to help with my recovery time. There wasn't a lot of swelling either. I highly recommended Dr. Brenner. It was just refreshing to have a doctor that was friendly and helpful. My mom will be visiting for reconstructive work as well.

Dr. Brenner is nice, warm and very thoughtful. My wife and I both go to her on a regular basis and not only does she provide very detailed work and always with great results, but she is very careful and always has a smile!

Dr. Brenner took care of my husband's foot after he lost most of his nail on his big toe. He was quite scared of anyone touching his toe as it hurt quite a bit. She took scuh great care of him that he still goes to her on a by-monthly basis.
