Kid's Kingdom

City of Rowlett does a great job at keeping their playgrounds up. This has several different sections for the different ages of children and it's a nice place to socialize with other mom's as well.

Kid's Kingdom is a great playground for kids. The kids love playing on a playground shaped like a castle. They have several things for them to do and it is in great condition.

Kids Kingdom, which is a community built wooden playground for the area kids, is located in the larger Pecan Park in Rowlett just off of Hwy. 66. It is in the same area as the Rowlett Community Center and the Wet Zone. Kid's Kingdom is shaped like a large wooden castle and has several fun activities for kids to play on including a shaky bridge, several slides, swings for young and older kids along with a smaller area in the back reserved for babies and toddlers. This is a great shady place for kids to come and play. We even have brought bikes over and while the younger kids were playing at the park the older ones were riding the bikes on the trails to the side and the back of the park. You will usually see a family or two picnicking under the large trees in the park. It is a perfect place to escape the summer heat and boredom.
