Garo Kebejian

My mom took me to Dr Kebejian, when I was 15, and that was 20 years ago. Now all my friends and family go to him. After every Gyn visit, he meets me in his office, goes over the exam findings, explains everything, then gives me a chance to ask my questions. He is very kind, very gentle, very patient, very knowledgeable, he has a world of experience in women's issues, and most importantly he is very compassionate. When I had my miscarriage, he held my hand and comforted me, I could see his eyes tearing while I was crying. When I went into a period of depression, I turned to him for help and advice, and he successfuly treated me both with advice and medication. When I had difficulties with my marriage, again I turned to him for advice and counselling, and he acted like a marriage counselor, and all his advice and help were on target. All of my friends have had similar wonderful experiences with him. No one can replace him. I hope he will be around for a long time. I strongly recommend him. Sandy T

I am 54 now. Have been going to Dr. K since I was 14! My entire family goes to him. My kids even call him Uncle Bejian. He is the most caring, sensitive and on top of it doctor I know. We all plan to grow old with him!.

Dr. K is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is kind, listens to me and over the years has truly become a friend. I have had emergency situations and he always calls you back in a very timely manner. Dr. K is a real gem in this otherwise hurried world. I honestly in all the years I've been seeing him, only had a somewhat long wait time maybe twice, and then he appologized.You won't go wrong with him as your doctor...

I've never had a problem with Dr Kebejian. I go to him for him and I wouldn't think of changing doctors just because of a bad experience with a secretary. Dr. K has something unique about him and thats why I picked him after seeing several different ob/gyns in the area (a friend actually recommended him who has been seeing him since 1992). With him I never feel rushed. He lets me talk and ask questions and he really listens to me and cares about me as a person. Maybe thats why sometimes he falls behind schedule. My appointments usually run longer than 15 minutes because i'm given the time i need to make sure all my questions get answered - so I'm not going to complain when he gives his other patients that same attention. When I call for an appointment I'm usually able to get in the next week or so, rather than a lot of other gyns where you have to wait months and months for an appointment. Basically the way I see it is i'd rahter have an excellent physician who takes time with me than go somewhere else where I dont get that attention just because i like the receptionist more. very happy, wouldn't consider changing docs.

I was a patient of Dr. Kebejian's from back in the late 90's when he was in St. Joe's Hospital. The service there was fantastic and the front desk person a delight. Somewhere around 2000 he moved across the street and got a new receptionist. The change was not in his best interest. Here are my issues:1. The wait times are way too long- even for a normal Dr's appt (I've waited well over 2 hours before), 2.The receptionist is rude- at best, and she has charged me for co-pays that I found out later I did not have to pay.3. I weight under 120lbs and have been told several times I'm getting fat and need to lose weight (by Dr. K)4.When I finally had enough of the place and found a new, and better gyn/ob it has been a nightmare to get my records to her- EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PAID THE FEE TO SEND THEM OUT. I have been very disappointed for a while with this Dr and receptionist and I hate changing doctors so the decision to switch was a hard one that took me a while and A LOT of reoccurring issues to get me to switch. Now that I am with a different gyn/ob I could not be happier and I should have made the switch a long time ago. I was a patient of Dr Kebejian's for over 10 years.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Garo Kebejian but after waiting about two hours had to leave the office. I had a medical problem and scheduled an appointment at 11 AM. I came on time, filled all the paperwork and waited. After waiting a significant amount of time, the receptionist told me that I had to wait until everyone else was seen, regardless of when their appointments were scheduled. I was never told that my appointment was an emergency one and had I been told that it was at the time I made my appointment I would have gone to another office. I was also told to pay a $25 co-pay but with my type of insurance I shouldnt have to pay a co-payment. I verified this with my insurance company. I cant say anything about the doctor but the receptionist should be more responsible.
I lost time off work, had to look for another doctor and didnt get my problem resolved.

Dr. Kebejian is a great primary gyn who is also a gynecological surgeon. Unlike many other doctors, he really takes the time to address your concerns. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor that is very knowledgeable and caring.

I was a patient of Dr Kebejian for 10+ years. I only changed dr's because i moved to another state. He was the most caring and patient dr i've come across. I am also an RN in the OB field. He was always patient with me, answering all my questions with respect. He also had a very gentile nature to him. Definitely recommended!

He is a wonderful physician who definitely cares a lot about his patients. He takes the time to explain procedures and treatment options and I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

Kebejian is a well known and well respected OB GYN. I saw him as did my mother, he knows his stuff, but he seems to be a little out to date on more modern technology and treatments
